DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
By Big guy, 1/18/10
This was a complete nightmare! My brother in law and I just wanted a clean room to spend the night while hunting in the area. The outside tempurature was about 26 and the first room we were given had no heat and the phone did not work. He had to walk back to the office to get another room. Well, the room we stayed in did have heat but the phone in this one did not work either. The bathroom was dirty. He had to clean the toilet of pubic hair and feces marks. The shower curtain had mold/mildew stains on it. We should have left and gone to another hotel but we were tired so we stayed. I went to bed, turned down the bed cover, blanket and top sheet to find a tan/brown stain on the bottom sheet. Obviously this hotel is not cleaned enough. Also the remote did not work and not because of dead batteries either. We happened to have the correct size batteries and tried our new ones in it and it still didn't work. The floor lamp switch was loose and made the light flicker if you touched it. We just left it off for safety reasons. And to top things off, the next morning he went in to complain of the room and check out and the Middle Eastern people behind the counter only offered a 15% discount. He was told to call the manager the next business day (Monday) He called the manager and he was very aggresive, rude and tried to not let him talk. He was accusing him of "wanting something for nothing." We learned our lesson the hard way. We will go WAY out of our way to avoid this dirty, poorly maintained, potentially dangerous, managed by rude middle eastern people dump of a hell hole hotel!! I STRONGLY urge anyone reading this to not stay here. There are plenty of other hotels in the Easton/Cambridge area.

ok motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/8/05
I made reservations at Days Inn Easton then read negative reviews, tried to stay elswhere but all motels were full so reluctantly kept reservations hoping motel was not as bad as reviews said, after all, the pictures on web site were pretty nice. The motel was located in a country setting, there is a state police barracks across the road (so much for drunken parties and teenagers frolicing around) our stay was fine, we got a good nights sleep and the motel was not filthy, I even looked for the spider webs. On our way to O.C. I wanted to ride the Oxford Loop on my bicycle (the loop practically goes right by the motel)management said there would be no problem to bring a bike. The motel was clean and management was courtious and helpful, but price was a little high.

Dirty, needs cleaning!
By one researcher, 9/6/05
When you pay over $100 for a stay at any place, you at least expect it to be clean. I have never stayed at a filthier place than this place before! When one walks up the stairs to go to the second floor, one sees webs of spiders along the stairways as if the place has been deserted! Also, the room floor was so dirty around the bed! Unbelievable! Never staying at a Days-Inn again!

Never Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/25/04
Over the past 11 years a group of us have stayed here 10 times every July as we gather for a trip to Crab Fest in Cambridge. The management has changed at the hotel though and this year will be our last. It's a basic property-clean rooms-pool-nothing fancy. And that part hasn't changed over the years. But we had management treat us very badly and even had the front desk call us while we were sleeping to tell us to keep the noise down at 3:00am...again...while we were sleeping. It's now a place where they allow local underaged drinkers to frolic around the hotel breaking bottles and knocking on peoples doors at night, and treat the out of town 30 and 40 year olds like the 18 year old that should be banned. What bothered me most about this stay is that management made it a point to warn our holesome group of friends that if we got out of control the cops would be called immidiately. I have never stayed at any hotel where you are warned about getting out of control when you have not done anything to warrant such a warning. Believe me-we're no saints-we have our cooler of beer (no glass and no one out of control) as we have done the past 10 visits without incident. I feel badly that a hotel that used to be so much fun with a real family flare has now turned into a playground for underaged drinking and careless activities involving management and staff. Go to the Days Inn Cambridge-smaller pool but friendly and curtious staff, or better yet forget Days Inn entirely and whoop it up at the Hyatt!
