10 reviews for Best Western Seaside Inn-St. Augustine Beach, St. Augustine
Excellent experience at an excellent price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/09
The staff was the perfect balance of friendly and professional. My second-floor room had a very pretty view of trees and beach grass across the street. The room was very attractively furnished, especially for a motel in this price range, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The microwave and refrigerator certainly suggested a potentially longer stay some day. Jacuzzi looked inviting, although I did not have time to use it. The beach was about a hundred feet away, and offered a beautiful sunrise (with a surprising number of joggers and walkers out at six am) and fine sand for walking. Restaurants were within walking distance, but not so close as to create a noise problem. Coffee, cocoa and snacks available almost 24 hours. Only negative is that almost all the continental breakfast items contain high fructose corn syrup or sugar coating. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful piece of paradise:)

This place is fantastic! I had stayed 2004 when it was a days inn, but I read the reviews on this and other websites about the rennovations and i have to agree with all of the reviews!(except the negative one!) It's convenient-From the motel, if you take a short walk across the street and down the public access beach road, you will be relaxing on the sand in no time! The motel is clean and very nicely furnished,& all the staff were very helpful and friendly! The rooms are very nice with a mini fridge, nice comfy beds, and large vanitiy. My only faults are no workout room & The shower is very low and not for tall ppl but overall i would definitely recommend this motel to anyone. Especially those who would like to visit St. Augustine, be close to the beach but away from downtown I love my home state of WV but i am not looking forward to leaving on Saturday! :)

What didnt we like is the question? The location is perfect, the service was great and it was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in! Thumbs up to the continental breakfast! If you are looking for a great hotel in st augustine this is with out a doubt the place for you! My wife and I hated to leave and we both were pouting about leaving! :)

Great stay at an awesome price!
By Kai, 03/16/09
Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the hotel clerk, who quickly assisted us with our check in. She was very nice and professional. Once entering the room we were amazed at how nicely renovated it was. The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the bathroom set up in which the shower and toilette were separate from the vanity area. Sadly, it was very cloudy and foggy on the beach but to make up for it we were only minutes away from many historic sights and fun adventures. We enjoyed our stay and have already started planning our next trip back!

My Best Stay!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/24/06
Not too long ago I visited the best hotel I had ever seen. It's name: Days Inn. It had a marvolous staff and millions of room comfort details. Also, I got to see all St. Augustine without ever having to use my car. I can't wait to go back to paradise!

excellent location-but
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/06
excellent location, parking very, very bad. no view of the ocean, price reasonable but pretty pricy for across the road access to the beach. staff good, pool very small. breakfast runs out very fast if your 15 minutes late your too late cause they don't fill anything up.

I was disappointed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/05
On this web page it states that the there is a fitness center here at Days Inn, but that's inaccurate. There is none! Also, the previous review stated that you could see the beach from the pool. That's not true, either. I can't even see the beach from the 2nd floor. The close proximity to many things is a plus, but the room leaves something to be desired. The shower/tub is for short people because the shower head hits your neck if you're over 5'5" tall. Also, there's no shower head so the water just sprays everywhere. The parking situation is rough because there's only one way in and one way out. Whatever you do, park butt first because you'll never be able to leave if someone parks behind you. The towels are small and not fluffy enough. They should invest in newer towels. For the money I paid ($97.00 a night with taxes and fees), I expected more for my buck.

We go back everytime we get a chance!
By MzPeachesfomGA, 05/25/05
The hospitality and service were well worth the cost. We enjoyed the location to all the places we preferred to visit and the view of the beach from the pool was fabulous. We have been several times, and will be going back as soon as we can.
