Aircrest Motel, Port Angeles

The price was good but the room was dirty. They hadn't vacumed and there was specks of something all over the floor (stuff that a vacume would have picked up), there was junk and garbage under the bed. The carpets were dirty and stained, the walls were paper thin where you could hear everything going on around you. The room was very small. The bathroom would not accomidate a large person. I'm not a large person and I had a hard time even closing the door to use the toilet because of how small the bathroom was. Usually in a motel room there is at least a small table sitting between two chairs so you can set food on or use for drinks. There wasn't a small table in the room. There was a desk that the flat screen tv (I guess you call it an LCD) and a lamp sat on but eating there was very inconvenient because the bed was about 2 feet from the desk and that's not a lot of room to move around. The neighborhood was scary! Had we known all these things about the motel before we rented it would not have gone to this motel. There are some good things though, they did have air conditioning in the room which was nice since it was so hot out while we were there. There was a laundromat around the corner, a taco time, and some other things within close distance of the motel. We did see a computer sitting by the door of the office as we went in to turn our key in but didn't know it was for customer use (only know that now due to someone else's review here). They did have a continental breakfast (just cinnamon rolls, cold cereal, milk and coffee). The owner was nice. However, when/if we ever go to Port Angeles WA again, we are not going to use this motel. We will be checking a little better into other places and depend some on reviews about the other places, and save more money for motel expenses since most everything else was a lot more money. If you are looking for JUST a place to sleep and nothing else, then this is probably a good place to go due to the price.

good price and not bad. close to everything. they even have a computer station set up in the office that you can browse the net.

I stayed one night and used nothing but the bed and the tv (an LCD). The location is convenient and the price was lower than other places in the area, but close your eyes. While nothing technically went wrong with my stay, this was the most repulsive place I've ever stayed in. "Seedy" is the perfect word for this motel.
