Don't. Seriously. Don't bother.

I didn't like staying here at all.
Yes, the staff is very rude. I came to this realization before I even booked my stay- when calling to inquire about their room rates. I felt like I was being scolded and had a difficult time understanding whoever was taking my call. Whoever took the call was excessively hateful and right off the bat left me to assume that the things I've read about the place were true. The only person who was actually kind to me was the maid, and she didn't even speak English.
Upon actually checking in, the strong stench of mildew rolled out of the room and nearly knocked me to the ground. Not even the air conditioner would alleviate the smell and actually had it's own odor too. The entire room's carpet was damp and disgusting. The bed was hard as a rock, the pillows were flat, the sheets looked as though they'd had coffee spilled on them at one point in time, only one of the lamps had a bulb in it...the large light bulb over the sink went out towards the end of my stay. I was ridiculously uncomfortable with the fact that the door to my room didn't have a top chain lock to it as I am a single female staying there alone at night by myself. The walls were paper thin and the wails of traffic kept me up every night. No matter how much I turned up the heat, the room was still drafty due to the fact that there was a significant gap between the door and the wall which let in the cold night air.
The key given to my room never worked properly. I've been in thousands of hotels and know very well how to use an automated key. When we finally needed to leave the room, I sent my friend over to ask for another key since I didn't feel safe propping the door and leaving (nor did I want to deal with the staff and their pissy attitudes). The older Indian man they sent over was EXTREMELY RUDE and treated my friend terribly. He stood there and demonstrated how to open the door "properly", with the door half open and NOT locked. He kept eying my friend and telling him that it was a "simple procedure" when neither he or I could get the light on the lock to turn green and open the door. No, it wasn't because we weren't patient, it's because the key we had DIDN'T WORK. I am convinced that he switched the keys, as the one he gave us had no problems after that. I was really aggravated by the way he treated my friend, however. It was so unnecessary.
I was even more upset because they wouldn't allow me to pay to stay until 7, when my train left Atlanta and instead demanded that I pay a full night's fee. I was completely livid, especially to be paying for that piece of garbage room.
Don't bother. Really. Just go up the street and pay an extra few bucks to stay at Intown Suites.
