Boone's Lick Trail Inn, St. Charles

We originally came to this B&B for our honeymoon and we fell in love with everything about this place. Our first trip was in 2000, then again in '01 and '02. Now that we have children, we have not been back, but we long for the day to return. Hopefully we can return this summer. Yes, the showers are small, but V'Anne and her family are super wonderful.

In June of '06 - we booked three rooms here for a family wedding ! Staff was both friendly & helpful & made all of us feel welcome. The breakfasts were served in a common room & both the food & the serving staff were generous in their offerings. Liked it so much that we are returning this June for a repeat of a family get-together. Great location for shops & eating spots.Park your car(s) and enjoy walking thru a bit of local area history - you too will want to return for another stay !
