La Quinta Inn Rochester North, Gates

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. This is my favorite hotel to go to just to get away for a couple of days. The location is just perfect for me!!!

this hotel was a easy on and easy off exit, but the hotel needs a new face lift both inside and out. we stayed on the 4th floor with 3 kids in lower grade school with no screen or lock on the sliding glass window. there was stains on the wall, the hallway was hot with no air, no fitted sheets on the bed, cigarette burns on the bedspread. the staff was very helpful and the free breakfast was passable, but there was to be omellettes made m-f, and didn't see any one to make them or anywhere whre they should be made. the price was average, and i probably wouldn't stay there again

i think that most of the good reviews are probably staff of the diplomat. I used to work there and think the place is disgusting. If only the customers knew what went on behind the scenes of this place. Dont book your wedding night here for sure. You will be very disapponted.

Great location right off the I-390. helpful staff in regards to the local community and recommendations for a good pizza. perfect hotel for business overnight stays!

the overall service of the hotel is definitnely subpar, as they seem to be mixed up most of the time when dealing with any party larger then a few rooms they seem to fumble between each other

I liked everything! I thought it was very nice. The staff was friendly, they had free breakfast in the morning along with a friendly man who made omellets. The room was very cozy and comfortable. I will definatly be returning for another wonderful stay :)

No complaints at all, clean atmosphere and nice front desk staff. Cozy setting and well kept rooms. Great bang for the buck, and very nice morning breakfast chef :-)

THE NON-SMOKING ROOMS SMELLED OF SMOKE.I FELT THAT THERE WAS NOT MUCH TIME CLEANING OF THE ROOMS.I WORE SLIPPERS THE WHOLE TIME. THE CARPETS WERE DIRTY.

Well, I can't say that I was even a guest at this hotel. It was my wedding night, and I had reserved a room 4 mos prior to our engagement, had atleast 15 out-of-town guest reserve their rooms as well. My husband went over around 2pm to make sure all was well and our room was secured, we could not check in however b/c it was too early. later that night when we went to check in they apparently overbooked! The bride and groom! and we had to drive ourselves to another hotel for the evening! There was also another bride and groom with out a room and 3 other guests that I know of who had no place to go either. All of the money that we got for their hotel with all of our guests and not even a letter of appology. They did comp our room at another hotel. I guess it's better that we didn't stay there through, my father had a cockroach in his room and urine on the sheets, and my aunt had no towels and called several times for them-after no response she had to use the bed sheets!!! Please don't ever stay here especially for a wedding.

We recently got married and chose this Best Western because it is right next to The Diplomat Party House. We did not want any of our guests drinking and driving. This was the perfect solution. The staff was excelent in helping me reserve a block of rooms. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. My husband,myself, and all our guests were very pleased.
