AmericInn Chippewa Falls, Chippewa Falls

Our family (my wife and I, 2 daughters, their husbands and 5 grandchildren) decided to spend Christmas locally this year. One daughter's family as well my wife and I live 3 miles from the motel. Our other daughter and family live abour 1 hour away. In the past we traveled to Wisconsin Dells. I must say we enjoyed the motel very much. The pool with the water slide was great for the kids and grandkids. The breakfast was way more than we had expected. It was much more than just a contintal breakfast. The rooms were clean and the staff great. I would recommend this motel to anyone, especially if they have small children or grandchildren. There are many eating establishments less than one mile from the motel. They vary from fast food to sit down and be served types. As a side note. If you want to have fun I would suggest checking our Action City in Eau Claire, WI. We spent 8.5 hours there on Saturday and had a blast. Even me at 67 years old.

AmericInns are consistantly excellent and we will choose to stay in them, anytime we are in their area. We spent a month in Wisconsin this summer and stayed in several, which were all very, very good. The one in Chippewa Falls stands out because that is where my husband left his cell phone and the manager, Patti Bernatz very graciously mailed it to us. We found that we could count on AmericInns being fresh,clean, comfortable, convenient, nicely decorated with excellent breakfasts and most of all great personnel in all the areas from manager, clerks, housekeeping, etc. On our trip, we stayed in some very expensive, B&B type Inns that had charming decor and good service, but we decided that we prefer the more modern,AmericInns for comfort and consistant value. This hotel was a lot of fun for the kids because of the pool area having a water slide, and nice for the adult swimmer too because of the nice hot tub and seperate pool for swimming and water slide. The hotel was also tops for me because it was clean, great breakfast, and the staff was excellent. I arrived later in the afternoon and asked if the coffee was decaf. The girl at the desk said no but insisted on making me my own pot! They also set out a bowl of salsa and chips between lunch and supper, a nice touch for the traveler who has kids that think there are 6 meals a day, not 3!

This place isn't a motel that is for older people,very noisy without children supervision in the pool area and the hallways. The people working the front desk were too busy to even have a supper break so we went out to dinner and brought the sweet girl back a salad. We did tell her our room was too close to the pool area and she did give us a better area!
