Comfort Inn Onalaska, Onalaska

My mom and I booked last minute after Thanksgiving supper, got a good price and drove the hour up to the hotel so we'd be in the area for day-after-Thanksgiving shopping. - next door to Sam's club, wild bird store, and fabric store, within minutes from the mall, lots of department stores and menards. We got in late at night to find our gift card had problems. The night check-in guy was wonderful, expedited our check in and had our balance for us when we got up a few hours later to hit the stores. The hotel was clean, the pool and breakfast looked great, though we didn't have time for either. The room was clean, had a fridge and microwave, nice tv, comfortable temperature, great pillows and comfy beds. This was WAY better than we expected for the price and we're already planning to stay again next year. And, I think it will replace my current chain for stays in the La Crosse area when I'm there on business.
