Better than expected!

My friends and I booked a night at the Mahwah Super 8 on a trip to see some sights in NYC. We mainly booked it for the cheap price. Upon arrival, we asked for a roll-away bed. The desk clerk was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite at no extra charge! The room was in much better condition than any of us expected and even the roll-away bed was comfortable. The hotel is very close to a NJ Transit Train station, allowing for easy access to NYC without fighting traffic or paying tolls. Highly recommended to those visiting the NYC area.

I honestly thought the room was in very poor condition. Actually dirty. Very poorly maintained. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke from room next door. Lobby was well kept. Room was below average. The hotel should be inspected by corporate headquarters and the board of health!
