La Quinta Inn & Suites Atlanta Roswell, Roswell

I only have good memories of this place. We were planning a trip to Six Flags over Georgia and needed a place to stay for a couple of nights. Nothing expensive nor so cheap that the roaches and prostitutes made permanent homes out of it. We found this LaQuinta and the price was right and the area was awesome. Since we have stayed at LaQuinta before we knew what to expect, and we were not disappointed. The rooms and the bathroom were clean. The beds were ok but what hotel beds are not just ok. The only thing I did not care for too much was the channel selections, they were very very limited but I am not complaining about that since I did not go there to watch TV. The rooms were a descent size. We had enough room to maneuver around, there were four of us. The pool was nice and clean and very relaxing after a day at Six Flags and a day of driving to get to the hotel. It was kind of on the small side but there was hardly anybody in it. No lifeguard on duty for me that was ok but if you have small children and they want to go swimming then by all means accompany them. The continental breakfast was satisfying. Not much of a selection though of course they did what they could with the limited space they had. The waffles were tasty and they did have a small selection of fruit and a small selection of muffins and bagels and two kinds of cereal. If you made it through that read now for the bad. If you want a pitch black room, don’t count on it. The curtains let in some light from the sides and there was an annoying little light on one of the light switches. Some of the parents that were there let their kids run amok. Overall this was a great place for me to stay wi th a budget. The cost of the room more than made up for any little annoyances. I would recommend this LaQuinta to anyone traveling to Atlanta on a budget.
