Family Inns of America - Newport West, Newport

I LEFT THE FAMILY INN OFF EXIT 435 BECAUSE THE ROOM WAS DIRTY AND THE STAFF WAS RUDE. I FOUND THE EMPLOYEES HERE TO BE NICER, MORE RESPECTFUL, AND WILLING TO HELP AT ANY REQUEST. IF YOU'RE GOING TO STAY AT A FAMILY INN IN NEWPORT GET OFF EXIT 432 AND NOT THE OTHER FAMILY INN...

My Family and I stayed at Family Inn West and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. It's not the newest place in town but it was cozzy. It's nestled right in the mountains. The employees were very courteous and eager to help in anyway unlike the snobby uptight people off exit 435. I would reccommend anyone to stay here. They have a restaurant and lounge. They are both down to earth and laid back. We will return to Family Inn West. The manager (Ms. Ottinger) was there when we checked in and when we checked out and was sure to ask how our stay was when we checked out. We got continental breakfast and coffee. It was a great overall stay. Thanks Family Inn.

I was in newport on 8/26/06 with my son and his family to see my brother that is about 5 min. from where he lives, It was easy to get to so we stayed there. I paided for 2 night but we had to leave the next day.. The room was too HOT and the floor was very bad.. My granddaughter age 4 and 1 could not play in the floor like all kids do.. I ask for a refund but didn't get one.. That's really bad busyness.. If you want to keep the people happy and keep them coming back you need to clean up a bit..
