Days Inn Greenville, Greenville

My daughter and new son in law were to stay at the days inn in greenville al. on there wedding night. When they went to there room three black men yelled racial slurs at them. Shortly after they went to there room they came and beat on the door and kept yelling racial slurs. They feared for there safety and my husband had to leave the wedding party to go get them and check them into another hotel. Days inn has the nerve to charge me for a room they didnt get to use??? I dont think so!!!! i will be telling everyone i know about this and not to use days inn because they dont really care about there quests

It was very late and I needed a place to stay. This was the first place I saw, so I stopped to check the price. The rate was higher than usual for Days Inn. But, the desk clerk told me it was simply because there was no competition in the area and this was the only hotel nearby. So, I reluctantly decided to check in. The front desk clerk was very nice. Check in was quick. I found the room to be clean. The bed was comfortable. The room seemed clean. The breakfast was better than most. They had a make your own waffle that was surprisingly pretty good. I usually like to take breakfast to my room and that was not allowed at this hotel. I didn't like having to eat in the lobby. In fact there were only 6 chairs at 3 tables. A group of seniors came in to eat together. Since there were 6 of them, I cut my breakfast short and gave them my seat, so they could all eat together. I would stay here again if passing through. However, if I were to plan a stay in the area, I would probably seek a hotel with a bit lower rate.

THIS WAS THE ONLY ROOM WE COULD FIND ON A FRIDAY NIGHT, SO WE REALLY DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE. THE ROOM SMELLED HORRIBLE. THERE WAS A DISCOLORED OUTLINE ON THE WALL OF A PICTURE THAT USED TO HANG THERE. NOT CLEAN. WE WENT ACROSS THE STREET TO WAL-MART AND BOUGHT FEBREEZE TO TRY AND MAKE THE ROOM SMELL WELL ENOUGH TO SLEEP IN. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!

Found absolutely nothing wrong with this inn. Very clean rooms, clean grounds, friendly staff, convenient to interstate highway. The place to stay in the Greenville, Georgiana, McKenzie area
