Super 8 Holbrook, Holbrook

THe only down side for us was the pool was closed down for cleaning. The price is really great for the area around the Petrified Forest. We ate at a fantastic chinese restaurant Mandarian Beauty (I think)but there were several other places to eat as well. The room was clean and the staff was well prepared. Continental breakfast did not have a huge selection, however.

i really enjoyed the employees and the services that they perform with honesty of cleaning the stay overs very helpful and enjoyable to be around every time we pass threw this way we will be staying at this motel

I recently stayed at the Holbrook Az location for 18 days (Nov.07). Recently being in a car accident and being so far away from home (2500 miles) I found that the staff was exceptional, very friendly and extremely helpful. The rates were fantastic and the cleaning staff was very friendly. They always had hot coffee on in the lobby if you wanted some with chit chat if I got a little bored. The washing machine and dryer were also conviently located. Would I stay there again...in a heartbeat because the people made the place enjoyable, it may not be a 'luxury hotel' but if thats what you are looking for then Holbrook isn't the place.

We reserved a room here and when we arrived the clerk acted like she had no clue what she was doing. We tried to get a non-smoking room, but none were available. She showed us a room on the first floor that reeked of cigarette smoke! To compensate for having no non-smoking rooms, she offered us a discount if we stayed on the 3rd floor. That would have been great if there was an elevator! She haggled with the available rooms for 15 minutes before finally telling us all she has was first floor rooms. She also mentioned there was a pool but the hot tub was broken. The entire time, I kept looking across the street where down the road a short way, was a Holiday Inn Express. I did take a look at 2 rooms, both very small (the second had furniture on the beds when she showed it to me!) I cancelled our reservation and drove my family to the Holiday Inn. So we paid a little more, but it was worth it!
