Hotel Scapolatiello, Cava de' Tirreni

Finding this hotel was a challenge in the dark with traffic flying by, but when we did finally arrive we were very impressed. The staff was very professional and helpful. We had a room right off the terrace, very comfortable and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. The entire hotel was like something out of a movie. All in all, we were very happy that we bypassed the downtown hotels and albergos and found this one up on the mountain with the bells chiming every hour or two from a not too distant monastery. It was lovely.
