Sporthotel Alpin, Zell am See

We have just arrived home after a fantastic week in the Sporthotel Alpin. The hotel could not be situated better you walk out the door and you are at the Cityxpress lift. ITS FANTASTIC. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and the head waiter can't do enough to make sure your catering needs are met. My two children were well catered for and loved all the staff who were just so warm and friendly. The swimming pool is an added benefit and the wellness centre is perfect. We travelled as a group of 6 adults and two children, my father was 70 on the night of our arrival and the staff made sure the night was special for us with a cake and music it was fabulous. This hotel is a real gem.

This Hotel was excellent in every department and my husband, granddaughter and myself had a wonderful holiday and were made to feel very welcome. The hotel staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly return.

While among the more expensive 4 star hotels in the area, we are really glad to have stayed at the Alpin: - location is great: ski on-ski off + only short walking distance to town center and lake - charming & competent staff - relaxed atmosphere - good infrastructure (although the bathrooms are a little small) Plus, the family also runs the Steinerwirt, a wonderful 500 year old restaurant that offers a great atmosphere and fantastic Austrian cuisine!
