Dirty,nasty,smelly, awful

I would highly recommend that people go elsewhere. I assumed that the name carried with it a reasonable hotel stay. The one positive was that this place was within a good distance from restaurants and my destination. However, the hotel is disgusting. The hallway leading to the room was smelly from the old carpeting that should have been removed, it was beyond cleaning. The stinch was of smelly feet, mildew, and possibly vomit. I couldn't believe that I was stuck there for three days. I called other hotels attempting to leave once I discovered the condition of Days Inn, but was out of luck. The other hotels were booked by that time. The bathroom smelled like mildew, the tv didn't work, and the ceiling was falling apart. I didn't expect a resort style hotel, but neither did I anticipate a garbage dump. The bathroom counter top was falling down and anything I placed up there would slide down and onto the floor. It was just downright nasty!
