Charming Hotel
We stayed at this hotel for 4 days in April of 2005. We were one of 4 couples there the entire time, so it was nice and quiet. The outside isn't very impressive, but the service and location more than makes up for it. It is located right on the waterfront and in the heart of the historic district. We were able to get a room with a balcony and waterfront view for 10 extra Euros. The room had a double German bed, which was very comfortable. There was also a minifridge that you could purchase drinks out of. Like most German hotels, the miniprices were comparable to what you would pay outside. The maids were very friendly. They provided daily service. The room price included a breakfast buffet. It included the standard European fare of bread, jellies, butter, yogurt, boiled eggs. They also had bacon and scrambeled eggs. The highlight was the restaurant. The food was fantastic. They serve a variety of items including fresh seafood, lams, salads, and of course schnitzel. We ended up going there every night. I noticed that the locals flocked to it on Sundays.
