Most welcoming stay
By Yitzchok, 1/14/10
we had a family weekend reunion. The staff were extremely pleasant and allowed us to bring our own food. They even helped us set up! The rooms were clean and cozy.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR..........
By Megan, 11/19/09
I stayed at the Madison Suites based on the 4-5 star AAA rating but upon my arrival, I was very disappointed. When you walk into the hotel it looks decent, but the rooms are very old and have a mildew smell to them. The carpet is old and they haven't done any upgrades. The entire bathroom is outdated and the tile looks dirty. It was a very uncomfortabel stay for me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are several other hotels in the area that cost a couple of dollars more. Choose one of them.

Cozy but very noisy
By chiaoping, 5/26/08
The hotel is no longer part of Choice privilege chain. It's price $79/night is cheaper than most of Choice privilege chain hotels (such as Confort inn, Quality Inn). But you pay what you get. The door is very old, so the room is very noisy, you can hear people knock the other room's door very clearly. Lots of guests party all night (after 3:00 AM) and make loud noise. The front door officer seems can not handle the situation. The carpet is very old, refrigerator still has food left by previous customers. Telephone is not working. Free breakfast is only thing I like. They provide many different styles. I can tell the owner is 'trying' to do a good job, and front door officers are friendly. But the hotel facility is just too old and that may be why the price is low.

New Management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/18/08
Hotel a little older but clean, updated, under new management recently. Management and staff went the extra mile to provide customer service. His staff arranged a fantastic banquet for our group. I appreciated the friendliness of staff. I'd recommend it anytime.

Cozy, Clean, Affordable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/2/08
I happen to dirve in to Madison Suites for a business trip, surpisely it is very clean, cozy and comfortable Hotel. They also offer a very good free breakfast. it reminds me the hot spring trips when I was in Japan. they even have Asian style breakfast( rice soup, dumpling, cup noddles, and flower roll, steamed stuffed bun......it is very sweet for a Asian businese people. I truly love it. good service, and nice people there. you shoud go and take a look, even just go for the breakfast.

Very Nice and Affordable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/23/08
Very Nice place. From what I understand it is under new ownership and management. Rooms are updated. I was really suprised at the level of quality for the price we paid. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone going to that area. Too bad this isn't a chain!

Old, poor service, pest-infested
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/24/07
decent value for money, and accessible location. ample free parking space. but rooms were not very clean. linen looked like they were 10+ years old. shower curtains were dirty. refrigerator was infested with ants. front desk staff not very accommodating. this place seems to get a lot of questionable characters. stayed here for nearly a month (was on a tight budget) and 3 times in that span, i heard people next door or above me fighting and screaming at one another throughout the night. only recommend it if you are on a very tight budget.

Good Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/6/06
Good value, free wireless internet, free big breakfast, huge rooms, cheap prices. Slightly away from all the hotels on Davidson avenue, which is good. The place could use a restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Call The Board of Health Quick
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/6/05
Nasty Dirty-Phone in room didnt work for the entire stay. Old inside. Service is poor as is the cleanliness. I ended up going down the street to a Holiday Inn for $4 a night more.
