We waited a long time before we were acknowledged and when the desk clerk finally did help us, we were told that because we booked through an "online company", our room was in the older of the buildings. The first room we were "assigned to" smelled of mildew, stale smoke and pet urine. It was filthy! The whole building smelled as if it had a mold and mildew problem. We requested a different room and even though check-in was at 3:00 p.m. and this was 3:10 p.m., we were told they were "booked". Do to health reasons, I insisted on a new room and was assigned a room in the newer, cleaner part of the hotel. The room was still not very clean, the air-conditioning shut off several times during the night and on our second day there, room service hadn't arrived to clean our room until after 8:00 p.m.! The inside pool was not heated, so it was too cold to swim and the jacuzi had only two jets working! The outside pool looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in over a week. Overall this experience was the worst we have ever had with a hotel, we paid way too much money and would not recommend it to anyone!

The service was super. We arrived late in the evening and every thing was in order. The bed was the most comfortable and the pillows were great. I wish I had them at home.

I will personally never do business with a Hampton Inn again. I think I would have rather stayed at the Motel 6. Recently a group of us reserved two rooms for a conference in the area. Firstly, online, they had listed they were only 5 miles away from the arena we were going to for the conference. This was actually around 12 miles away. When we checked in, they failed to tell us they charge a $100 cash/credit card deposit paid up front per room. When I reserved the room and told them I was using my sister's card to hold it as I had no credit card, they failed to tell me this knowing we were driving from out of town. When I didn't have an extra $200 on top of the room cost, they were prepared to cancel my reservations and send us away when a very nice Christian woman attending the conference footed the deposit for us when she heard how they were treating me. We also asked for two rooms side by side on reservations and were given two rooms across the hall from each other instead. The air conditioning didn't work in one of the rooms and I found their manager, Jared to be completely rude. There was no indoor pool or hot tub and the outdoor pool was covered so no one could use it. For the price of the hotel room, I would have rather stayed at the Marriott. At least at the Marriott they treat you well.

I really enjoyed the customer service of the hotel. The hotel staff were willing to help me with anything anytime of the night. I also enjoy the midnight snacks that they make for guests who arrive late.
