Stamford Grand North Ryde, Sydney

Service is poor and the place isn't that great either. Website is very misleading - our room overlooked the car-park and main road - no privacy. Looks much nicer on the website than it does in reality. With the a-la-carte dining, service was slow and food was presented without salt, pepper or napkins.. Dirty dishes, trays and leftover food are left in the coridoors for you to make your way around them. There was also a seniors conference and alot of local youths using the hotel facilities - which, needless to say, spoilt our romantic getaway due to the "local club" ambience of the place as opposed to the "resort style atmosphere" we were expecting. In-room breakfast was not what I ordered and I was charged for a bottle of wine I ordered and never received. Have asked for rectification 4 times only to be ignored and dismissed as not important enough. Very poor value for money. Would never go back or recommend to anyone. I think thats enough info for people to come to a conclusion on whether Stamford Grand North Ryde is ideal for them or not. Thank you for reading my comments and I hope you have a lovely day!
