Just returned from Sydney
We spent 4 days at the Sydney Harbor Marriott. Stayed in a room on the executive level. Due to low occupancy at the hotel, the cost was $70/night instead of the usual $99. There was a hot/cold breakfast, coffee/tea/soft drinks/bottled water available all day long, canapes in the evening and a full bar in the evenings. Well worth $35 a person. Lydia, one of the host in the executive lounge, was most helpful. She provided recommendations for restaurants, shopping, etc., provided maps and made reservations for us. She got us a great waterside table at Nick's in Darling Harbor. The room had a great view of the Opera House, was a good size. 2 minute walk from Circular Quay, the ferry terminal, and the Rocks. Would stay again on next visit to Sydney.
