Great views, location and staff
I have stayed here multiple times, starting before it was renamed Marriott from the Rennaissance. The rooms on the city side are slightly smaller than those facing the Opera House, but are quite comfortable, and could not be called small. Those facing the Opera House have an incredible view of that building, as well as Circular Quay, the harbor, and the Royal Botanical Gardens. While not super-luxurious, all rooms are certainly well appointed, with fantastic beds and baths. If at all possible, upgrade to the Executive Floors. The Executive/Concierge Lounge is possibly the finest in the Marriott brand, staffed by a truly caring group of multi-national employees. Australia is getting expensive for Yank's, but this hotel is well priced for the services.
