not worth going...

the rooms are dated, the upper management staff were less than helpful and don't deserve their titles... the security at the hotel pushed one of the people i was travelling with and rydges did nothing about it. the actual grounds were fantastic and great for our kids... if you are after any entertainment at night at all don;t go there.. they close the pool bar whenever they feel like (some nights at 6pm) and the only other area does not allow children under 18 after 9.00pm. They also do not allow thongs (or open toed shoes) in the
bar!!! It was stinking hot when we were there
(jan 2007) and what did they expect us to wear? Overall, I would not recommend this property. There are so many great resorts in Australia that i would go back to before I would step fot back in a Rydges..
