Hotel Kheops Nabeul, Nabul

I was working in Tunisia and management put me up in this hotel on a demi pension (Half board) Breakfast was a joke, a choice of croissant and cereal, evening meal fair to good but the same thing each night. Don't except any service between 21:00 and 06:30. Oh you do not need an alarm clock YOU WILL be woken ay 04:30 by the call to pray. Very low water pressure and the hot water was only lukewarm ( I hope you like quick showers) Very c lose to the local markets and shops. I have stayed in worse but that was 25 years ago in Sri Lanka.

Stayed there 25/07-04/08.2008. At check-in I was given a dirty room, after I insisted they gave me another one. The staff is very lazy and unhelpful. When they tell you "in a minute" that means in the next 4-5 hours. The hotel is built 30 years ago, everything is old, dirty, smelly and shabby. They take your towels 9am, and they give you new ones about 4-5 pm. It's the same with the sheets, so if you want to take a nap or a shower between 9 AM and 5 PM, you're gonna have to do it at the beach. There's a big and dirty pool, so as the restaurant. The food is strictly tunisian, so everything is hot and spicy. The beach is some 500m from the hotel, and especially on weekends, croweded by locals. All in all, I regret going to Tunisia and choosing this hotel. It does not deserve a single star. A holiday disaster !!!

The only think I like was the view from my balcony; the rest, as a Traveller this hotel is far away from 4 stars; breakfast is a joke, the rooms are dirty, very noise early hours; and believe or not in the morning during this period of peak you cannot find water even to brush your teeth; the elevator another headache, can't cope with the demand, if you are on the last floor, get ready to exercise. Wondering how Tunisia hotels' get the rates for stars? No value for money. They need to improve services in Tunisia hotels.

First of all the hotel is beautiful and huge! Its not directly on the beach but you just have to take a short walk there. Everyone was amazing and super hospitable. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was the food, we had breakfast and dinner in a buffet style way. It was ok to get by but nothing to brag about. The pool is beautiful, we had the animators create entertainment at night from bingo to dance competitions. Nabeul is not quite the biggest tourist city but we were completely ok with that because the biggest thing we'll take away from Tunisia is the Sahara 2 day excursion that everyone must experience. In the end we were very happy with the service and cleanliness and our whole experience was enjoyable.
