Double-charged. Would not fix. Pool was closed. Internet didn't work. Terrible service and won't return calls.

I wish I had known about this place before my stay. Early in December my partner and I, along with some friends, had to have a lay-over in Nashville, TN. I MADE SURE to book this room with a KING sized for me and him. Upon arrival when it was apparent that he and I were a couple I was "INFORMED" that my reservation for the KING sized bed had NO LONGER EXISTED! I presented him with my print out and a person, who identified himself as the owner, said he could only offer use DOUBLE BEDS. However my other HETEROSEXUAL travel companions had no trouble getting a KING sized bed. Furthermore upon presentation with this fact the owner said the my friends and I could not switch rooms! I don't know what is wrong with the owner. Did he not like me because my partner and I were: A. A committed gay couple. B. I am Asian American. C. My partner is Muslim. D. We were not white. Never in my travel experiences in the Big Cities of the south have I ever encountered such a lack of "Southern Hospitality". I would probably be more welcome at a KLAN rally than this hotel. I WOULD NOT recommend this place if your/ guest are: Gay African American Muslim Asain Ethic Minority Concerned about health The hotel room was mediocre as well for a Holiday Inn. The room had a leaky faucet and moldy/ old smell. After this HORRIBLE, DISCRIMINATORY experience I decided to turn the other cheek... But, recently a business trip required me to stay in the same area. Upon checking for hotels in the area I found other classes of racial and sexual orientation discrimination. This hotel, as you will read in other reviews, recently fired two employees for being gay. The same employees were regarded as excellent by the manager until he learned of them being gay. Please DO NOT condone this behavior by patronizing this hotel. Show them this is not acceptable. Who knows, you may be next.

Rude staff, owner just fired HR manager for being gay, they don't care about their guests one bit. Not a good experience

I would like to start by saying, they over charged me; were rude to me about it; then refused to fix it. I asked for directions to the location I was going, and they gave me the incorrect directions; then got upset when I called them about it in distress. I would rather stay at the $39.99 room four miles up the road and worry about bugs than ever say there again. Also the internet was down for nearly a week and they were “working on it”, with no reasonable time for completion. I did voice my concerns and the response I got was “I can not tell you what they (the night shift) were thinking”. They at no time called to correct it and at no time did they apologize. I asked for the policy and procedures and was refused, by them changing the subject. I have to stay there for work on three more occasions over the next two months and will reserve my own room somewhere else if that is an option with my company, if not I will not stay there I will bring my camper up from now on. This is the worst place I have EVER stayed at.

Could not sleep at night because there is no automatic temperature control in the heating unit. Either you stop it and be cold or it will run forever with very loud noise. Besides, there were no curtains in the room to avoid light. The rooms are small and the entire building seems to be very old
