Good mid-range option for HHI

Stayed here on my first trip to Hilton Head Island. The staff were friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. Rooms are updated and it shows in the new bedding and bathroom fixtures. Definitely need a car to get to the good sites (but we found that's true of everything on HHI). Within driving distance to beaches, good restaurants. Within walking distance to nice strip mall w/McDonalds, pharmacy, etc. Nice continental breakfast. My only complaint is the long walk to our room from the elevator. Great place for families to stay

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. While it is not on the beach (many Hilton Head hotels are not), the location is great. The drive to the beach is short and the restaurants in the shopping center across the highway were very good and reasonable. It is also a very easy drive to the Bluffton outlet malls. We took advantage of the fitness room, swimming pool, and breakfast. All were very nice. They also have laundry facilities for guests, which is most helpful for beach towels and bathing suits. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay an extra day. We will stay here from now on when we travel to Hilton Head.

Just a bit over average

The hotel itself was pretty standard - decent rooms, service, facilities, etc. The best thing about it for me was that it was conveniently located to many restaurants.

Perfect rest

I loved the big fluffy, clean white beds. They were very comfortable. The room had nice amenities (microwave, frig, coffeemaker, free hi-speed in the lobby, etc.) The staff was very friendlly and the free hot breakfast in the morning was great! I was very pleased with my find by reading these reviews and I wanted to follow-up and post a positive one myself!

Clean and Comfortable

Very clean hotel with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not ocean-side, but you can rent bikes and ride to a beach in 10 minutes. They are putting an elevator in right now but you still have to walk to the second floor until they get it done.

The Hotel to Visit

What a great place to stay. 1 mile from the public beach (they're scarce in HH). Close to restaurants and activities. Staff was wonderful, helpful and courteous. Room was pristine. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in HH.

Great Value for Hilton Head Isl.

This is an older property but still a great one. Interior corridors. I found a nice staff, clean hotel and great location. According to the desk staff the hotel underwent a renovation this past year (8-04) and is going to go through another this fall, (9-05) Improving rooms (beds), carpet, new doors, air conditioners, etc. I found it freshly painted, new breakfast stuff, great location. Lots of restaurants around. Beach about two blocks. Movie theaters across the street. Kids fun park two blocks away. And you would never know it was near all this because the noise inside was nil. Still a great Hampton and I never stay at any other brand.
