Nice Motel & Saved Money
By Paul, 3/11/12
The place was clean and inexspensive. Stayed overnight while visiting local wineries and saved some money to buy several more bottles of wine. The staff was nice and helpful. I would go back and stay there again.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/30/11
we went to the Days inn for a night when going to uor daughetrs Graduation, we loved it, they told us that they had taken over motel 6 an work was being done in side . we knew that things may look out of place but when redoing a place that is so very understandable, we got a roo with a new bed refridge, microwave and coffee maker, the room was very clean and the bathroom had marble counter tops it was very nice, the hall ways had old carpets yet to be taken up and new carpet was waiting to be put down and you could smell the fresh new paint that had been put on the walls. it was great, I slept relly great too for being in a motel, My Husband and I have deside that we will make that our place to stay on our furture vistes to Geneva... Thank you to all the staff who made our stay a great one... The Dullens from Baldwinsville new york

great place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/19/10
When I called for a reservation the desk clerk immediately asked if I qualified for a discount, AARP, etc., and I did. When I requested a 1st floor room due to a mobility issue she suggested a handicapped room. The room and bath were spotless. The bathroom must have had every safety bar known to man!! The shower/tub area was surrounded with bars at every level. When I returned about 9:30 pm. I checked out the coffee station in the lobby and the young man at the desk immediately offered to make a fresh pot of coffee for me. Near my room was a "service" room with the usual vending machines and a microwave oven. Since there was not a chest of drawers in this room, nor was there a refrigerator or microwave, it might not be too comfortable for a lenthy stay. However, for a short term visit it was fine. Since my son-in-law works in the city I will probably visit there again and I would certainly stay at Motel 6. In fact, I was in the city about a year ago and did not return to that particular motel, but chose Motel 6 instead!

rent a dumpster, it's cleaner
By nicejob, 6/2/09
Where do i start? You get NO shampoo, or tissues. The towels are way too small. The pillows are flatter than pancakes. You feel EVERY spring in the bed. The sheets and blankets are filthy. The floors were disgusting. One couple in our party got locked out of their room at 11pm. The hotel staff brought in a locksmith that could not open the door by 1 am in the morning. The staff di give the couple a room at no charge, but their belongings were locked in their room. The staff did offer to buy whatever they needed. But since they needed clothes, all stores were closed except rite-aid so they had to sleep in their clothes from that day. A locksmith was to be out at 8:30 the next morning, but didn't arrive untill 11:30. It took this guy 5 minutes to get into the room. Some staff members were fine to deal with, but others were not very helpful. We did get our money back from the stay in this dumpster of a hotel. I would stay at the belhurst castle, hampton or ramada next time. The cost is almost double, but well worth it. There is only coffee and tea for breakfast. There is a wendy's next door to this joint. A member of our party wanted the corp phone number to complain to, and the lady behind the counter was resistant to give it to us. After she gave it up, she said that no one will be in to answer, BUT there was someone there and they happily took the complaint. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LIKE FILTH

never again
By The 3 Boys, 6/23/08
The rooms were large, but dirty. They offer no extras. No shampoo, coffee maker, hair dryer. We were given one towel the size of a face cloth. Even though the price was cheap, I would rather pay more and stay at a better place.

Never Again
By Twig, 5/24/07
In one word, Dirty. As close to filthy as one can get without being in a dumpster. Unfriendly staff. The maintainance was very lacking as a light in room was not working and when I reported it, I was basicly ignored. Three days later upon my checkout the light still was broken.

Dumpster with WIndows!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/4/06
I have visited many motels during my travels this summer, but this one takes the cake. I felt that the cost of the room was only average, and not the great bargin they want you to think it is. Don't let the fairly nice exterior fool you! The hallways are old, dingy, dirty, and smell like urine - yep - urine people. The rooms are okay, and did smell better than the hallways. You can see that at one time there were 2 beds in the room, as the headboard was still on the wall, but the bed was gone, leaving an ugly skeleton of what once was. I mistakingly asked for an extra pillow, as there was only 2 on the queen bed, and I suffer from sleep apnea. I was bluntly told by the rednecked one toothed wonder at the desk that "there isn't anymore." No apologies, nothing to try to help, end of subject. At 6am the next morning I awoke to dogs barking! On the positive side... Geneva is very nice with may stores and things to do near by. Beware people!

Quiet and Clean
By michael w, 4/22/06
This was my very first time in Geneva, NY, and I do not drive. The Motel 6 is close to all sorts of eating places. It is a VERY clean and quiet place and I felt very relaxed and comfortable there. The bed was Quite comfortable, too, and I slept like a babe (normally, I am a restless sleeper). I do plan to go back if not this year (2006), then next year. If you need a place that seems like every day is Sunday, then Geneva, NY is for you.
