I stayed for one week on travel. The room I stayed in had a very bad smell of smoke, like something had shortened out or was on fire. I called the front desk, it took them a while to come to the room. They couldn't figure out the smell. My room was gloomy and dark, carpet needs to be replaced, room just seemed to be outdated.

I recently stayed at the Albuquerque Clubhouse Inn and Suites after I had day surgery at one of the local hospitals and didn't feel comfortable leaving the area so soon. You never know what can happen, so peace of mind was the way to go. The room cost is very reasonable.The room was clean and newly decorated. They have microwave and refrigerator in our 2 room suites.I was about 1 mile away from the hospital should I need to get there in a hurry! I had let the staff know of my needs, extra pillows, big fluffy ones, and maybe an extra blanket and they were more than accomidating. My Friend who stayed with me was able to go have a nice breakfast each morning and bring something back to the room for me. The ice machine was close by. There are resturants within a few blocks that are open 24 hours a day, and easy to access from the hotel. I was able to get the rest I needed and able to travel without worry in a day or so. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again when I am in Albuquerque. My Doctor was impressed that I had stayed over as a precaution.

My three grown daughters and I recently stayed there (they were from Texas and I am from Arizona). The suite was roomy and very clean, with nice furnishings; beds were comfortable, and the whole facility was very nice. The staff was expecially refreshing - everyone was so nice, friendly, and helpful! We loved the breakfast and the pool. Our whole family is planning to meet there for Christmas (if everyone can get "things" lined up). The Inn and suites was close to most activities. Clubhouse will be our chose when traveling thru Albuquerque. Lou King

We booked this hotel for the Balloon Fiesta thinking we were not going to be pleased because of the low cost. OMG ! This hotel was not only friendly, it was clean, had large rooms, ample parking and it was close to EVERYTHING. The hotel provided a HOT free breakfast with plenty of seating and staff. I would tell friends or family about this hotel and experience. ( Although, I would love to keep this new found place to our own ! )

Have stayed at CHI for over 20 years now--everything about it is great, but the rooms do need over hauled--the bedspreads need tossed,they seem unclean, and replaced with something like Marriott does--the carpet needs replaced and the qwhole room just needs lightened up--and cleaned up--does not mean I will stop staying there, but would be a perfect experience with a bit of refurbishing

I always try to stay at the clubhouse when I am in Albuquerque. They have very clean rooms and they serve a nice hot breakfast every morning. In addition to the hot breakfast, there is also a Manager's Reception where they serve each guest two complimentary drinks(alcoholic and non) The pomegrante margaritas are my favorite!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was excellent and a excellent selection of items. The nightly drinks and snacks were also very enjoyable; and again a good selection of beer, wine and mixed drinks. Now the negative! The rooms need to be remodeled. They are VERY outdated, the bedding is at best OK. The carpet, furniture, etc is not in very good condition. That being said I would rate dollars spent verses received as average". I would be willing to spend $20 to $25.00 more per night if the rooms were refurbished!

If we ever come back to Albuquequre this is where we will stay! The service is great, the rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was great! It is an easy drive to any where you want to go. The front desk people were very helpful as were the cleaning girls and buffet girls. We had a little patio off our room that I sat in the mornings and was very peaceful. Our room was decorated very nicely and the beds were very comfy. Plenty of hot water for a family of 4. GREAT value for the money. I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else?? You will not be disappointed!!

Be careful. Our experience here was a decent quiet room that had been smoked in a BUNCH. Due to this experience only, we will not stay here again.
