Hacienda del Sol, Taos

We have stayed at this B&B twice, and it is truly the BEST in Taos. The rooms are all beautiful, but the ones that open onto the backyard are exceptionally nice. The view of the Taos Mountains is unsurpassed. Breakfast is gourmet, in fact I believe they have been written up in Gourmet Magazine. Afternoon hand-squeezed lemonade and homemade cookies are to die for! Being an animal lover, my only "negative" (more a disappointment) is that the previous owners had a dog that would roam the grounds. He would greet us each morning as we opened the doors of our room to gaze at the Taos Mountains. "Bo" made our first visit extra special! Would definitely stay here again. It is worth every penny!
