You can check in but you can never leave........

This place is for locals only these days.....however, if you get stuck up here or something tragic has happened in your life, you will always be welcome with open arms from the owner and all the tenants.......sanctuary with a view.......raw local lifestyle........I like it!

cheap, but unclean

Price was good, but I wouldn't recommend it. Didn't feel like the sheets or towels were clean, the pillows smelt bad. We supposedly had a non-smoking room, but didn't smell like it. Probably because the room was over the owner's living quarters where they must have been chain smoking. Shower door fell off! Definitely won't go back, there are other motels in Kings Beach with good value and clean, friendly service.

Good Value

affordable and clean priced at $39 night is best deal around and $150 weekly with two full size beds worked fine for us. The location was ideal with all services within walking distance. Would highly refer others. Your information is not correct there is no pool but the lake is right there out your door. I hope this helps.

On the Beach a friendly value

Seconds from the beach Location is great staff is friendly A value Yes ! great for Jsut a place to sleep if skiing or summer , or out and just want to place to come back to. Old , a kinder way would be to say this motel has been through a few winters. You ca NOT beat the on the beach location and value ! While this is not the regency with a spa or amenities, it does not claim to be a Conde Nast award winner. Simple clean and close to north shore Gaming or resorts

Are you kidding !!!

To actually call this a lodge, hotel, or even motel is a disrespect to the industry. This place is creepy with all it's strange people wnadering between rooms. I thought I was in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco. People were living at the place like they were in an apartment complex. Most of them had large dogs and plenty of friends. Good place to stay on Halloween !

Think about this before you go

Number 1 - Cash (check) only I couldn't locate the pool or fitness center - not there. Big plus: is very close to beach. This is a very old motel and is on the run down side of things. If you are a family looking for a cheap place to stay and not worried about amenites this a good place. No matching towels and wash cloths. These looked like goodwill rejects. If you want something a little nicer - try someplace else. BTW: Try out Jason's saloon just a block away - Great Burgers and Fries!

A great Value ( price point), located 5 mins from casinos,4 min from Safeway,3 mins from Java Hut,2 mins to the beach, and seconds away from STEAMERS Pizza.
Fred the manager is a friendly person "Making a good effort" to keep rates as low as the economy will allow.
