Terrible Service for My Wedding Weekend!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/11
I booked my entire wedding block (over 30 rooms) at this hotel. We even booked the biggest rooms in the hotel and spent a lot of money with them. Jessica, who is the special events coordinator was rude, unaccommodating and when things went wrong she really didn't care one bit that my guests had multiple complaints about the service, restaurant, front desk, and overall experience. While the hotel itself is beautiful I would never stay there again. It really was an awful experience for me and it was my wedding weekend! People came from all across the country, stayed in this hotel and I have had nothing but complaints from my guests about how rude the staff was. The only nice thing that has been said is that the rooms are beautiful and the food is good. If you can tolerate some of the laziest people on the face of the earth- then by all means stay here! If I could do it all over again, I would have had my wedding block stay at The Hyatt, or The Dearborn Inn where I'm sure anything would have been better then what we received! They didn't even clean our rooms, and we had the Presidential and Governors suites the entire weekend! The women at the front desk are the meanest people ever. Don't make eye contact, or greet you, or ask how your stay was.... And I was the bride!! I would never recommend this place for any bride trying to host a nice time for their guests..... Try somewhere else!
