Very Comfy and cozy
By Den, 06/29/09
We just stayed at the Comfort in this past weekend. Last minute check in, which they were very nice and the room was great. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were great!!!! We didn't do breakfast ): just coffee so we could have an early lunch but place was great and will be back there soon....

Expensive and Unsafe
By Sarah, 05/27/09
I have stayed in many hotels, but have found the service at this particular location lacking, especially for the price. We spent over $100 on a one night stay, and attempted to use the pool. After I got in, I saw that it was full of bugs. My partner looked around to find a net with which to skim the pool to no avail. She finally saw one in an open room, and out of politeness asked the front desk if she could use it. The gentleman to whom she spoke gave her quite an attitude despite the fact that she was willing to do the staff's job of cleaning out the pool. Then, after my very brief dip, I took a shower. The water pressure was a trickle at best. There was no conditioner supplied, despite it being a common commodity in hotels. At night, while we were trying to sleep, the smoke detector started beeping every few seconds. I called the front desk about it, and they sent security down. The guard took our smoke detector and said he wouldn't be able to return it, and to be careful. Then, he got a call on his walkie-talkie, which promptly broke. It was at that point that I spent a sleepless night worried about our safety. We have taken many trips in the past few years and have stayed at all levels of hotels; this was by far one of, if not the absolute, worst. If we spent less (a lot less) for the room, I may be able to shrug off most of this, but $120? Nope. It has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not a good place to stay
By The Wampus, 05/25/09
The man at the front desk was very rude to me, the water pressure in the hotel was very low, there were kids running through the halls all day long, and the breakfast was lacking. I'm paying for a better place - I definitely got what I paid for.

Perfect!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/08
I never write these types of reviews, but I felt I needed to after my recent stay here. I booked out a block of rooms for my wedding in early August, including a suite for myself. The staff was wonderful and helpful with everything. They even accomidated 2 last minute changes to reservations, and allowed the wedding party to set up a Wii in the main lobby since it wouldn't hook up in the room. The suite was beautiful and clean. Everyone staying there commented on how wonderful it was. I have no complaints at all! I would highly recommend it for anyone staying in Mystic!

Great Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/08
This place is worth it, the staff is friendly, close to attractions, and its quite, the only minor set back is the continental breakfast, not a big variety and is very crowded, but the food is edible for a quick bite.

Do Not Recommend this Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/05/08
This hotel was extremely noisy (listened to doors slam, people yelling, and ice machines all night). Beds uncomfortable. The last night of our stay, we had to take freezing cold showers as the hot water was not working for hours. The breakfast area is extremely small and can not accomodate the number of guests trying to get their food. Would not recommend this hotel to others. There are many other hotels in the same area that must be better than the Comfort Inn in Mystic.

Comfort Inn is comfort to the max !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/03/08
My husband and I stayed here after visiting Mohegan Sun and to continue on to see Mystic Seaport and see the aquarium. The stay at the Mystic Comfort Inn was excellent. The staff was superb from beginning to end. The room was very neat, clean, and roomy. The A/C was great with minimal noise, shower good, and had a great sleep in a comfortable bed. When we were checking out, I asked about the cost of the Mystic Aquarium and the desk lady quickly said they give out discounted tickets to the Aquarium, which we took advantage of. All in all, a great motel and we will stay there again.

Very impressed!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/08
Just got back from a stay at the Comfort Inn for my parents anniversary. This hotel was super clean and had an extremely friendly and accomodating staff. The complimentary breakfast was superb from the cereal and waffles, to the fruit, yogurt and hard-boiled eggs - something for everyone. The rates were very reasonable and the hotel is located literally two to four minutes from the shops, seaport, and aquarium. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definately stay there again when in Mystic again.

BUYER BEWARE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/26/08
Not to my standards. Breakfast was ok but the breakfast lady watchout for her. She will watch you like a hawk. Made my son some coffee and poured half a cup of milk she was watching me like I was stealing the milk. If you book this place keep in mind that they do not have an automatic opening door so it makes it difficult to open the door with the cart or if you have a couple of bags. Also if you want a microwave and a fridge in the room you need a king size bed or need to request it. That to me should be a requirement for all rooms since some medications need to be kept in the fridge. Our room was nonsmoking and we had the aroma of cigarettes.
