Stay Somewhere Else!

My first and only experience with the Tri Valley Inn was not positive. The room had 2 queen sized beds, which were pushed up against the walls with a narrow walkway in between. The first bed was right under the low, front window; not an ideal spot for a bed. By the way, it looked like someone had tried to pry open the window at one time. At the foot of the bed on the farthest wall was a tiny table with two chairs. When I picked up one of the chairs, the arm came off in my hand. You had to walk around this little table to get into the bathroom which was really, really small. The sink had no drain cover. The shower was approx. 24 inches square. If you are around 5'4" or shorter in height, the shower will spray you in the face & you cannot move the shower head to either side to avoid this since the shower is so small. The bathroom had no fan, but a window without a screen. The knob on the toliet was broken off. On the wall of the bathroom was a large spackled patch, about 24 inches by 36 inches. The refrigerator & microwave did not work. The air conditioner buttons were difficult to reach, located above the little table about 5 feet 7 inches above the floor. The drawer on the tv stand had been kicked in; the broken pieces were still lying there. We had trouble closing the door, then the lockplate on the wall fell off. The front desk clerk came too look at it & said that they would need to install a new doorframe; the wooden frame had cracked. It looked like someone had kicked the door in. The clerk assured us that the door could still be locked...not to worry. You can stay at this establishment for about $100 per night! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
