April 2010 stay at the Radisson Airport
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/20/10
The employees were very nice, the food at the resturant was good, the bar is expensive. First, three of the six days I stayed at the Raddison, the maid service forgot to leave clean towels and coffee. Secondly, the sheets on the hide a bed were dirty and we put them on the couch for the maid to take them, they were still there after the maid service left the room. Additionally, they insisted on reserving $180 on my credit card, which on the last day they finally said they would get released, but the card company said it would take up to eight days to get released! Some of the other people who they did this to were refunded immediately, but I am still waiting. They told me it was because I purchased my ticket from priceline.com. I have never had to do this before and will never recommend this hotel again because of this. I was here for a residency at the University, and shuttle service was included to the University for those who purchased their ticket through priceline, but those who made their arrangements through Expedia had to pay $5 per trip. They also use glass cups and glasses, which I had to wash before use, one day a cup had lip prints on the clean cup. The carpets are filthy, if you stay here wear socks. The issue of the credit card was stressful and I have never had to do this anywhere on my travels in the U.S. or abroad. This reserve of money on my credit card was not on my priceline contract anywhere and I would not stay here again because of this alone. Each day I asked for them to release my money, they pointed to a sign on the desk, which I did not see when I checked in, but that does not make it right. Some of my co-students refused to pay, and they didn't push it.

3 Star Hotel with 1 star service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/27/07
Overall, this hotel wasn't bad. However, the service leaves much to be desired. When you phone the front desk and the clerk tell you to come get your own towels, that greatly diminishes any hope of anyone returning. To top it off, the maid service didn't even clean our room when a call to the front desk was done 6 hours prior. So if you don't mind poor service, this can be an okay place to take off your socks and relax. Just never put in a call to the front desk and expect a miracle to happen, at least not while you are still there!

Don't let the Radisson name fool you.....
By Pamela, 5/22/06
Reservation requested smoking room. After long, long day checked in got 'non' room, requested change and apologized (I had already gotten room assignment) The room I got....full view of all air conditioning units and conduits for complex, closet door wouldn't open, toilet refilled every 1/2 hour, table was dirty, bathroom floor too, then.. room service came with no condiments (salt,pepper,butter,ketchup..) Really, I won't ever go back!

Great hotel and people...
By Pete, 9/1/05
Fantastic price for a great room right next to the airport. Don't stay there anymore because I moved here but still my first choice for visiting friends and family.

Pleasant stay at Phoenix Airport Radisson
By JT, 5/23/05
I got a room at this hotel from a Priceline bid. Having read a number of bad reviews on this hotel, I was expecting the worst, but was instead pleasantly surprised. All the renovation had been completed before my arrival on 5/6/05. Check in was smooth and easy. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. I politely asked for a room with two beds; she complied. She then asked if we had any preference, like high floor, room with balcony and/or view of the swimming pool. I quickly asked for everything, and she gave us the best room still available with two beds and a balcony with a view of the swimming pool. She even asked if we would like a crib for our baby. This renovated Radisson looks quite nice and “new” both outside and in. The lobby is small but clean and attractive. The elevator has an all-glass back wall overlooking the hotel lobby and small center court. The hallway had a fresh smell and seemed bright, and the carpet clean and new. Our room was spacious, but more importantly, very clean. The room smelled fresh, with no sign of dirt or uncleanliness. It had dark redwood furniture and marble counters, sink, and bathtub. Everything looked fairly new, even the carpet. The room even had free wireless internet. The only downside for the room is the bathroom size; it’s very small. We had a very pleasant stay at the Phoenix Airport Radisson Hotel. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

I would stay again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/8/05
Stayed 4 nights and we got the room for $50 a night on priceline.com. I believe one of the reason we got the room so cheap was because the pool and lobby were under construction. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly.
