Excellent!!!
By Kelly Stewart, 3/18/08
We stayed at the Greenville Marriott for two nights. This is a beautiful property, clean, great staff and wonderful extras. I visited the on site spa for a massage. My therapist Jodi was great and the price for 90 minutes was only 115.00. We normally stay at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville when in this area. After a few less than stellar visits we decided on a different location. I chose the Marriot because of the spa. While it is not in the Grove Park league neither are the spa prices. The massage however was as good as any I have ever had at the GPI. A special warm foot wrap w/ exfoliation is included. There is a sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, workout room as well as showers and lockers. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds and all the extras. Bath and Bodyworks amenities, hairdryer, great mirrors for doing hair and makeup. The lobby is sort of art deco with a very nice dining room and bar. My heart will always belong to the Grove Park but this Marriott is top of the line. Our rate per night was 85.00 goverment. There are several different discounted rates offered. Oh, the water in your in room fridge is comp and replenished each day! After staying where EVERYTHING is extra cost I was so pleased with the many free extras given. Great hotel.

The most Upscale you'll get for the Price
By Aron from SC, 2/28/07
I visited on a business trip (group discount to $75), and was absolutely amazed. The hotel had a slightly hip/upscale feel to it, but it didn't over do it. Pros: Bright color scheme. The bed was nice and comfortable, I think 300 thread count sheets. Bathroom very clean, ample supply of towels, Bath and Body Works toiletries, and the shower had a double adjustable head. Restaurant menu was eclectic. Cons: The room was rather standard sized, so the shower was a bit small. I had some miscommunication with the restaurants/bar staff. The alarm clock was too complicated even with the instructions. but other than that, it was great. If I ever go to Greenville again, I'm going to stay there. Even thinking about going to Greenville for my 3rd anniversary just to stay there, because I think my wife will like it.

More Than Impressed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/25/06
I was more than pleased with my stay at this Marriott. The staff was outstanding. As an example, when I checked in I mentioned that I am allergic to down pillows. Before I made it up to my room, all of the pillows (lots of comfy pillows!) had been replaced. The room was clean, room service was superb, and I had the best night of sleep I've had in months. Even the toiletries and soaps were high quality. The restaurant food and staff were excellent, too. The pool and fitness area are gorgeous. I will stay again and recommend this hotel to others. Close to the airport with very quick shuttle service.

WHEN YOU WALK IN...
By Simone, 12/27/05
When you walk into this hotel you get a very pleasent surprise. I've stayed there 7 times this year. I can't seen to break myself from it. Sundays are a delight-- Jazz and breakfast. Indoor and out door pool. The massages are to die for. The staff is very and have friendly. recent Marriott upgrades a major bonus. Develping surroundings with tons of restaurants and shopping. We travel alot..lived in may countries and this was nice.

Great hotel with recent upgrades!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/14/05
The staff was friendly and the hotel was in great shape. They said they also have free wireless internet, but my computer saddly lacked that capability. They will be my first choice if I head back to Greenville.
