Fawlty Towers Motel, Cocoa Beach

My girlfriend and I spent 3 lovely days and 2 nights and the Fawlty Towers resort motel for our anniversary. Paul, the owner and his staff were friendly, courteous and made us feel welcome. From freshing up our room, bringing extra towels pool-side to providing us their promotional rate, everyone there treated us like you would a good friend. The location is perfect for enjoying all the dinning, beaches and activities Cocoa has to offer. We enjoyed our time relaxing by the pool au naturale, cozying up in our room and socializing with other guests and the Tiki bar (thanks Michelle!). I have stayed at Fawlty Towers 4 times 2007, 2008, 2009,and 2010, and it is not a "5 star" hotel,it that what you need this is not the place, not i have never had and unclean room, or a room that "smelled bad" I have never had bad service. as a matter of fact on my last visit the lady at the front desk called me by my name when i came in,she remembered me form earlier visits, I don't know about you,but being from a small place in NC I liked that. So if you have to have 5 stars, go for it, but if clean, friendly, safe, in a great location at a resonable price is ok for you I think you'll like it here...by the way it is in front of an adult store, and behind a tatto parlor for that matter, but no one has ever tried to force me to go in either...LOL...enjoy your stay...Larry

My husband and myself needed to get away for a few days. We go there every chance we get it is close to our house so we can still check in on our family. The staff treat us like family and I've never had a complanit about my stays there. the beach is close the pool wonderful and the tiki bar is great. Can not wait to get back

What a great stay! The staff are very personable and friendly. Took care of everything we needed. Love the Tiki Bar. It's a great Margaritaville experience. The courtyard is beautiful. A little tropical haven. The hotel is very close to the beach and you can walk to everything from here.

This motel was nothing like the website. The rooms are very dirty. Burn marks in the furniture of a non-smoking room, cracks in the ceiling in the bathroom, very bad smell in the rooms and unfriendly staff. Had items of value missing from my personal bags upon returning from the beach. Will never go back to this motel.

This is NOT the Hilton!! It IS a small, well-kept, clean, comfortable small resort in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a busy Cocoa Beach area. The friendly, accomodating staff, laid-back fellow travellers, welcoming atmosphere and proximity to all the amenities mentioined on their website make this a great place to chill out and enjoy the Florida sun. My wife and I were cruising with Royal Caribbean and we wanted a place close by Port Canaveral with shuttle transportation. I like others read bad reviews and was concered that I made a bad choice on staying here. They made our shuttle arrangements and was picked up at Sanford Airport with Cocoa Beach Shuttle Service (Great Service). We get to our room and was confronted with a room that needed to be cleaned better. We talked to the staff and they took care of it right away. The place has seen better days but even the most popular Hotels have the same problems from time to time. I want every one to know who reads this that our stay at Fawtly Towers was the best part of our get away, We stayed 3 days before our cruise and 2 days after. Our cruise what was to be the high light of our vacation was by far shadowed by our stay here. This is the most relaxing place I believe I have ever been. You just have to over look the minor things and take in what they have to offfer, a decent room, pool, Tikki Bar, and the ocean and beach is just a short walk away. If you want new then go somewhere else. If you want a palce that is laid back and low key then this is it. Just a short walk to everything you need, take the shuttle bus to places futher away. Just a good location. If you have a problem about the adult shop next door, don't worry about it. I didn't even notice it. If you book a room here and have a problem just in a nice way talk to the management, they will take care of it and with a smile I gaurantee it. I have made this my place to stay while I'm in Cocoa Beach.They handled all my lodging and transportation needs and I couldn't ask for anything more. So to sum up I would recommend to all who want to stay at a place that you can relax at,at a good price and close to all that you need then this is it. We on average cruise twice a year and when we Cruise from Port Cnaveral, this is without a doubt part of our vacation. Bill from West Virginia.

the place smelled really bad, it is false advertisement. There is a window unit for air conditioner. There is no fitness center or business center. The fitness center is a gymn that is not in the hotel. You have to walk to it down the street. It is not worth the money at all. I went there and receive my money back which was paid in full because of the false advertisement that they put on their website. There is not view. It look like a broke down motel 6. The smell is horrible in the rooms. This was a horrible experience for me because i am use to staying in a 5 star hotel . This is not a resort and i do not understand why the word resort is in their title. Word of advise do not book this motel.

This is not a resort. It is an old, old, roadside motel. The windows were very dirty. The building had old, cracked wooden balconies on one side. You have to park on the side of the building away from your room. The office lobby had a very bad odor and no room for customers or luggage. Upon check-in, your luggage sits on the sidewalk next to the street. The bathrooms were extremely small. You have to turn sideways to use the toilet because there is no space between the wall and the toilet and the sink. The floors were filty, the showers were small and dirty. The fixtures were old and the tile was cracked. The kitchen stove did not work and the burners were lined with aluminum foil. Only two of the burners actually worked. The Tiki bar does not serve alcohol. And you really need to be drunk to stay there. The pool is really small, not like the website pictures. The landscape needs very much attention. Trees and plants looked dead. I actually cried the first night. Thank God we only had to stay two nights. I couldn't wait to leave. The only positive side to Fawlty Towers is that they are walking distance from the beach. The twenty-four hour fitness center is actually three miles away, not next door. This place is more like a very old 1970's motel. I was very disappointed and I actually cried the first night. My advice to potential customers is to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Their prices should be half of what they charge. Fawlty Towers is VERY DEPRESSING.

Recently stayed at the hotel and found it nice, clean, convenient ,close to shops, nice staff, good shuttle services, free wireless connection, coffee. We bought a package that included pick up at the airport, shuttle to a cruise, pick up from the cruise and the hotel and airport. We'll stay again. They offer recommendation to places to eat, drink, hang out all their recommendations were accurate; close to the local trolleys ($1.25 ride)
