But Wait... There's More?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/23/08
Just got back from a weekend getaway here and this was a great place and exactly what we were looking for. It's a tad bit pricey for the room, but the manager Chris truly made this an excellent stay. Not only was a great breakfast served, but wine, appetizers AND desserts were also provided. We missed dessert one night and to our suprise, we opened the door to our room and there was dessert on a tray waiting for us. We were truly spoiled and after everything was said and done, was well worth the money. I'm positive we will be back again in the near future!

If you want relaxation, this is the place to be...
By A Yahoo! User, 11/05/07
Wow! We've just spent a wonderful 2 nites at this cozy inn and enjoyed every relaxing moment. We were made to feel so welcomed by the innkeepers and staff. The rooms are fresh and made to feel as if it's your "home away from home". We had a pefect ocean view and keeping the window open at night allows one to be lulled asleep by the nearby surf. Beds were comfy, firplace added a cozy touch. The breakfast was delicious and there was a nice selection to choose from. The hors d'oeuvre's and dessert were also delicious. This place is highly recommended and we are already talking about planning a trip back.

Memory Maker
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/07
This was my first trip to California and I have to say that my stay at the Cypress Inn helped make it fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the rooms were wonderful. Being able to relax in a comfortable room that has all the amenities you could want and that has a balcony that overlooks the ocean just helped make my time in California a memorable one. Waking up early, sitting on my private balcony to soak up the fresh morning air, and then strolling across the street for fresh, relaxing, sit-down breakfast in the main building just helped start my day off right. I have to say that when I think back to my trip to California, my stay in Half Moon Bay at the Cypress Inn is the first that comes to mind. I can't wait to go back there!

not going back
By Sorry and angry, 01/11/07
We had the "penthouse" which was up 2 flights of narrow stairs. We carried our luggage ourselves. There is no elevator, so disabled people are limited to the first floor. (There is a ramp outside to the front door.) Several windows would not close so there was a draft all the time. The stopper for the bath/Jacuzzi was broken. The "free breakfast" was very limited. We feel the price was way too expensive for what we received.

Low Key Romantic!
By Pamela H, 06/09/05
We loved the beach view from our balcony, the cozy fireplace in the lobby, and good retaurants within walking distance or a short drive away. This feels like your own casual beach cottage. The staff can make dinner reservations and snag the window table at Moss Beach Distillery up Hwy 1. Definitely a laid back weekend escape less than an hour from Silicon Valley or San Francisco.

Just what the doctor ordered
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/04
This is where I spent my wedding night, actually. Every time I've stayed there, we've sprung for one of the more expensive rooms, so perhaps that helps, but we've loved it. The breakfast, brought to your room, manages to take foods I generally wouldn't like and make them delicious.
