Dont wake up HUNGRY!!!!!!!
By Mel, 08/27/08
Free continental breakfast and free coffee in the lobby. Thats a joke. The coffee tasted like ink! The continental breakfast was store bought rolls and muffins. They were not even fresh!

Would not honor price mentioned when we checked in
By Mel, 08/27/08
The manager that runs this place, does not the first thing about managing a hotel. Stay clear of this place. Told us a price at check in and charged us $18.00 more a night. Has denied every saying it.

BAD
By Mel, 08/19/08
BAD BAD BAD I really don't want to think about it again. The pillows were yellow. The mold in the bathroom and the sticky spots on the rug. Nicotine stained walls. Stay clear of this place

June 30TH 2008
By Telephonegal, 07/02/08
I stopped at this Motel when a heavy rain made driving impossible. It was the first motel I found off the interstate. The bed was cleanm but that was the only clean spot. The rug was worn, stained and even sticky in spots. The plastic sleeve that lists hotel rates had a dead spider in it. There were cob webs in the corners of the room. I had to go to a convenience store to get allergy medicine because the musty smell of the room made my allergies act up. I do not recomend this motel at all!

Awful--regret choice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/07
Although some may say that you get what you pay for, paying $110.00 for one night and banking on Choicebrand's (Econolodge) well known name and promises of quality should at least get you a half-decent, clean room. We didn't expect the Ritz or five star service, but at least a clean bed to sleep in and bathroom to shower in. Unexpected conditions: Terrible room odor; bathroom door would not close as the tiolet bowl was in the way and door could not be shut; extreme mildew on bathroom ceiling, walls, shower head and curtain; very dirty bed spread and linens (yellow and brown stains on underside of bedspread/stains on sheets and pillows, and run-down and dirty furniture. Did not sleep well as we laid awake in full clothes on top of bed due to dirty conditions; took a shower and felt dirtier than we were prior to showering. Definitely do not recommend and will never, ever stay at this establishment again.

Decent
By Kathy, 08/26/06
This hotel suited us just fine. We were pleased with the price, and the room was clean. Not too many extras, but that is why the price is lower at Econo Lodges.

Good for the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/06
The main thing you have to remember is you get what you pay for. I paid $65/night for 2 adults and 2 young children, to me a great price. Unlike the review above I was not charged for the children. I also requested a refrigerator and microwave and received them at no additional cost. The breakfast was very minimal (muffins, toast, coffee, and juice), but ok. The only real negative experience we had was because of the location of our room. We were right behind the office and it actually had an adjoining door to the office. The problem was that the night clerk likes to talk on the phone and is not quiet about it at all. Overall for the price I thought it was a good place to stay and would probably go back, would just request a different room.

Doesn't deserve Econo Lodge branding
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/05
50-cent surcharge for ALL phone calls, local or not....breakfast was store bought donuts and muffins sitting in old plastic tupperware containers, and did NOT include cereal or milk or anything most kids would eat...breakfast area was dirty and small...little or no security for entrance to building...rooms were nice, but A/C & heating units were illegible to what was ON, OFF or the knob setting...extra fee for refrigerators...ice machine was ancient and unsure if it would pass safety codes
