Super 8 Carlisle South, Carlisle

For starters, the exterior and hallways are very nice. Rooms aren't too bad. Stayed here for one night on our way to Myrtle Beach. Breakfast could have been better. Would likely not stay here again.

we had a 18 stay vaca with my hubby and they wanted us to prepay the whole amount im not from here never heard of that and bothered us till we did. Room service you cant understand them and got mad at us for wanting of sheets changed and kept talking where we couldnt understand them. dont stay here the worse time ever.

Every year, I take my family which inclueds me, my husband, and our two children on a family vacation. This year my youngest daughter who is eight had many sergerys and we weren't able to plan a big vacation. So we decided to go to Dorney Park in P.A. They kids loved Dorney but the Super8Motel couldn't have been worse. We ordered a cot bed for my other daughter because her friend had come along. The room was so tiny we had to scweeze it between the sink and the bathroom to get it in. When we opened it, we found rat droppings on the bed. We immiditaly through it out of the room and into the hall. We told the manager and he said he would have to "get back to us" which he never did. There were aunts on the floors of the bathroom. And a fire alarm went off at 5:36 AM until 5:52 AM. The police never showed, thank god there wasn't any fire. The maid "forgot" to make our beds two of the nights (out of four) and when she did, she made it very sloppy. I am warning you not to stay here. You will not be happy. The reason there are so many other good ratings about it is because it had another owner. Now it is calle the Super8Motel and I'd rather sleep on the grass. The picture isn't anything what the motel looks like. Don't be fooled by what you see, we were, and look at what happened. Dont let it be you who sleeps with the rats.

Have stayed at this Super 8 for many years. Nice people and great rooms. Has nice access to the surrounding attractions. We go to the local dirt modified races in Maryland and the Super 8 is close and we love it.
