Highly unlikely we'll ever go back
Was in Valdosta mid-March for my grandfather's last days and then funeral. We checked into our room very late that night, and there was a huge wad of used chewing tobacco on top of the entertainment center as well as a plastic fork. The two chairs in the room were obviously heavily stained and there were dried up leaves in the bed I was sharing with my young daughter - hence 0 stars for cleanliness. If the circumstances had been different, I wouldn't have stayed in that room for anything. But considering the emotional state we were all in already, that we had driven 6 hours to get there, it was so late at night, and we had 3 small children to get in and settled, I just didn't have it in me to do anything other than get us to bed. The next morning when we went to check out, I told the 2 ladies at the desk the issues with the room, and the response I got was, "Oh, I'm so sorry about that". And then they just stood there looking at me. I later did a review of my stay and the general manager emailed me back and said he was sorry about the experience and that my payment would be credited back to my account in the next 15 days. That was May 6th, and now 3 1/2 months later... the amount was never credited back. So, 0 stars for service and value as well. I gave 5 stars for location, as it was conveniently located to the hospital my grandfather was in.
