The rooms were clean and the motel conveniently located. Close to the mall and the Coliseum. The front desk clerk were very helpful. Looking forward to my next stay.

During my stay at this Econo Lodge, the front desk attendant assigned my room to another couple while I was sleeping in it!! I was awakened in the middle of the night to the sound of my door trying to be opened. The couple was unsucessful in entering because I had the dead bolt locked. However, they returned with the front desk attendant, who just assigned me that room two hours before, and she opened the door. I had to scream that the room was occupied, and they quickly left. The front desk staff was unwilling to compensate me at all for this intrusion of my privacy. The management either. I called the 1-800 number to complain, turns out their customer service hotline is merely an outsourced service that takes the complaint and fowards it to the location. Obviously they are not going to take the complaint to heart, I already contacted them with it!! The name Econo Lodge perfectly describes the type of treatment and service you get when staying there....Econo. The Choicehotels group should really take a closer look at who they are letting represent their brands. The team at the Fort Wayne Econolodge is doing a wonderful job of tainting the name. I for one will never stay at another Choice Hotel brand location.

This place is filthy, stinky and not nice. We had no privacy, and were afraid of intrusions. There are basically no aminities! I couldnt us the internet, as the lines were down. The halls are dark and dirty.
