Super 8 Willowbrook IL, Willowbrook

The surface of headboard and drawers are very sticky and dirty. The continental breakfast is nothing. It post a sign -" By county law - only provided by muffins , milk orange/apple juices and breads only. No fruits". This ia a crap. I went to the La Quinta - 50 ft away to see the continental breakfast and ask what is the county law requirements. La Quta has every thing. It is not worth to stay. Pay $15 more to stay the La Quinta .

There was mold covering the ceiling tile outside my room. I asked to move and the person at the desk after giving me flack for not reporting it earlier clacked literally 2 keys and said all the rooms were full. No appology no further assistance offered. I called super 8 customer service and they said it would take a week for a manager to get back to me. Upon checkout the desk clerk insisted it wasn't mold, i have pictures I provided on other review sites that prove otherwise. No one from the hotel called me within the week so i escalated the case they said someone would call me in 3 days. The day after i escalated the case the hotel manager called me. He offered me a discount on future stays which i turned down since I won't be staying there again. He then offered me 30% back which he said was the best he could do. I said thats fine if you want to give me 30% back but i am still going to want to talk to a manger at corporate since you didn't even bother to call me back till i escalated the case. Needless to say no one called me in 3 days either and the hotel manager also only gave me a 25% refund. I had to call back in to customer support and they said someone would call me within 24 hours. Guess what! No one called. So once again I had to call back in to customer support and was told someone had been reviewing my case. When i was later finally called by a manger he said someone had filled out the forms wrong originally and he had just got it! Yet another lie. He didn't offer me any additional refund but did offer to give me the 5% i was originally told I would get. I posted a much longer review elsewhere but all in all I was lied to at least 8 times by customer service/staff, no one cared about the mold or any of the other problems with my room and no one wanted to make it right. If you have a good stay your lucky if you had a bad one don't expect anyone to care.

I have never even considered filling out a review on yahoo. This time It is a must. I absolutely do no recommend this hotel. Sure it is inexpensive but you will understand why when you step into the Motel. You can deal with not having anything other than a bed or TV when you pay so little. It was a complete disappointment to find the general manager was a complete jerk, ignorant, and in no way understanding. He was completely irrational and in no way deserving of any business. He in fact would not even put me in contact with his boss or the owner... Certainly seems like someone knows they were in the wrong. Do yourself a favor and go to La Quinta, Red Roof or Holiday Inn, all neighbors of this Super 8.

BEST SUPER 8; TRIP REWARD MEMBER; THIS SUPER 8 IS CLEAN; FRONT DESK (HAMAL) VERY FRIENDLY; ROOMS NEAT AND CLEAN; GREAT VALUE; OUT DOOR SWIMMING POOL; STAYED HERE FOR A WEDDING PARTY; CLOSE TO I-55 VERY CONVINIENT FOR OUT OF TOWNER; WILL DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN IF I COME TO CHICAGO.

STAFF IS FRIENDLY, THE ROOMS ARE GREAT CLEAN, GOOD BED SHEET, INTERNET WORKED GREAT, HOUSEKEEPING EXCELLENT CLEANERS, FRONT DESK WARM AND WELCOMING, CLOSE TO I55 TOWARDS MIDWAY AND DOWNTOWN. WILL DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

Got bitten by bed bugs. Air conditioner did not work. Light bulbs were burnt out. Had to kill crickets in the room. Will not stay there again.
