Quality Inn Arcata, Arcata

We spent $128.00 for one night, couldn't check in before 3. Carpets were stained, grout in bathroom moldy, table almost came apart when I leaned one elbow on it, upholstry on chairs were worn and frayed on the corners, both lamps shades had holes and the frames that hold them up were broken and leaning. Carpet in the hallways were stained and VERY nasty. Breakfast was small and only open til 9:30am. Cat roaming around in breakfast area....not sanitary. Pool only open til 9:00pm. A really crappy place for a whole lot of money. The only thing this place has going for it is the location and at least one of the staff was nice, the gal that checked us in was not. I would sleep in my car in the parking lot before I stayed here again.
