Inn at Depot Hill, Capitola

Service was great, the place was awesome, everyone was super nice, can't wait to go back.

It was a very spacious room with your own parking lot right outside our room. It also featured your own hottub.

Really enjoyed the airy-ness of our room, the quiet, the wine and cheese we took outside to the beautiful patio area in early evening--and warm welcome from all staff.

It has been a while since the previous visit to this beautiful place. We were happy to see that the quality of service is the same. The value is great and the staff professionalism is outstanding.

Accommodations were very nice and comfortable. Nice linens, etc. Evening apps and morning breakfast were yummy too

Upon our arrival we were shown to our room the "Valencia". They had the fireplace on and soft music playing when we walked into our room. It was our 30th Anniversary and it was our most romantic anniversary yet! We were there for 3 nights, and the staff made sure we felt like family. Our son who lives in the area came to the Inn while we were finishing our breakfast, and offered him fruit and muffins. The location was also perfect, not too close to the wharf, just far enough to walk off a meal, maybe 3-4 blocks.We met other couples while staying at the Depot Inn, they too were enjoing their stay! We will be going back for future Annivesaries!

Very Expensive yet the bathroom had lights that needed replacing, the tub/spa was dirty. The table and chairs outside in our patio area were rusted and one chair had a large hole in it. There was only one person working on a Friday afternoon/evening. She was so busy she was unable to get to our room request in a timely manner. We never did get the pillows for the patio chairs so our clothes would not get rusted. We ended up using the towels. There were mostiquitos and a fly in the room. This made for difficult sleeping, though the bed was devine and we felt like were were sleeping on clouds. The wine and cheese were ok, the desert was very chemical tasting. The breakfast was great. Great location, several blocks from the beach. For the price the service was less than optimal.

Convient but secluded with a great deal of charm. The food is excellant and service is top notched. The staff and management go out of their way to please.
