Paradise Found Hotel, Panama City Beach

Stayed only 3 nights, but during that time the phone had to be replaced; the TV had to be replaced (then replacement TV broke); toilet leaked; sheets don't fit beds; beds are uncomfortable; Wi-Fi is so bad its nearly unusuable; towels would cause agony to even the mildest sunburn; we literally watched paint peel off building while sitting on the balcony; all public areas smell like propane; pool is so cold its uncomfortable even in July; the poolside concession is manned by chain smokers in nasty tank tops who don't wash their hands between smoking and serving food

I liked the Staff. Responded well to requests. Room was decent. View from room was Awsome! Elevators need updating. Pool was ok. Beach was great! I did not like that the safe in the room didn't work. Needs new Tv's.

We love the pool here and of course the closeness to the beach. The staff was friendly. We had a good time as we did before.

I emailed staff many times with no response. I finally called to confirm that I needed a joining room; as another couple was coming on the same check in day to join us for a wedding we all were to attend. We checked in & I was assured our room had a joining. It did, but not when the other couple joined us! During our stay the power went off for hours, the water went off for hours causing us to miss the wedding rehersal;our room keys would not work on multiple occasions, the balcony leaked water all into the floor of the room; maids never cleaned the room or made the beds; no water pressure; rude staff; the rooms smelled like mildew; the elevator is something from a horror movie; the pool area is dirty; trash was piled high on every floor & left for days at a time; the wooden steps leading to the beach needs to be repaired & is hard to "jump" off of & back on; the mini fridge in our room froze everything & would not turn down; the alarm clock & phone didn't work; and the balcony railing in front of our room and in the back was loose!

Drove in from Dallas Texas. Worth the drive. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. The rooms were okay for the price. Both my kids enjoyed the free pizza, punch, cookies and a movie at sunset by the pool. Absolutely loved the beachfront view. We had a great time.

Pros: The staff is very friendly, the smaller pool was semi-heated but the waterfall pool was too cold for April. They were both clean. It's right on the beach. The rooms are clean and all have a balcony overlooking the water. I had to ask for a coffee maker but they did bring me one. Centrally located. Cons: Scratchy towels, fitted sheet didn't fit, phone did not work. I would go back - rates are reasonable but getting a fridge is extra. Also, I was there during spring break so it go pretty rowdy at night, but that would probably happen in any of the hotels during Spring Break.

Bad service, very crowded, dirty, and very old!! Do not stay here!!

First the Cons of Paradise palms: The elevator was old and only worked 1 of the days we were there but the 2 flights of stairs were not that bad, my biggest complaint would be the thin walls and lack of carpet causing you to hear everything that goes on in the rooms next to you. The bathroom was outdated the towels were scratchy the bedding wasnt that great the air system was either freeze to death or sweat to death no in between. The parking was minimal we had to park across the street one night it rained one day and the walls on the outside of the room did leak The Pros: Its directly on the beach since this was the reason we came to PCB it worked out great, the staff were all friendly and helpful the breakfast of donuts and coffee were a nice surprise if you like that kind of thing (I happen to love some donuts). If your looking for a 5 star hotel this is not the place if you just want to spend a few days hanging out on the beach enjoying the outdoors and some of the beach nitelife this place isnt that bad and for $100 you could do worse.

Full of mold throughout hotel due to leaks all over the place. When it rained, it poured into all over the hotel. Lots of visable mold/mildew. Elevator waaay past inspection and never worked properly. Noisy - you could hear your next door neighbors talking, etc. May be cheap on the pocket, but you get what you pay for. The only thing nice was the beachfront view. Other than that, spend an extra $20 or $30 a night and go to a nicer place. We left 2 days early because of this dump of a hotel.

Unless you go during either spring break or the 4th of July, you'll find that this place is worth the price. The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, the rooms were spacious and tidy, and they have a small fridge and microwave in the rooms. The only 'bad' thing was that the bathroom was rather dated, but one doesn't spend all their time in the bathroom. The towels were a bit on the scratchy side. We had a wonderful view of the beach! This isn't The Omni, folks, but it's very decent for the small amount you pay.
