Excellent value, hospitality, and cleanliness
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/26/09
This well-run hotel is just 10 minutes from Wrightsville Beach, but half the cost of the hotels on the oceanfront. Especially for a weekday trip when beach parking is plentiful, a stay at the Baymont can save money for other exciting beach activities like kayaking.

Best place for the money.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/07
We checked in 30 minutes early without any problems. The complimentary breakfast is better than most places. I liked the waffles and the coffee is great. Besides the maids, make sure you tip the woman working the breakfast. She works very hard to make your stay enjoyable. Location is great and the place is easy to get in and out of. Definately the place I will stay next time.

nightmare
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/20/07
one word for this place: nightmare. I had to book a large party coming in for work and they couldn't manage to check anyone in correctly--even though they all had confirmation numbers. Worst of all I left early one morning around 8am, worked all day, and returned around 11:30 pm to find that my door was not closed all of the way. Terrified I made sure that no one was in my room. When I called the front desk, they brushed it off and said that it was probably just the painters (not to mention anyone that walked by my room right at the stairway) and didn't seem to think that I would want to know that random painters were entering my room--HORRIBLE!

A convenient and reasonable place to stay!!! We will definitely return!
By A Yahoo! User, 08/27/07
The inn was very nice and clean with a friendly staff. Although it was close to the road, it was not that noisy. They had a nice pool and the breakfast was very nice- make your own eggs and waffles, now that's a treat!! It was nice to have restaurants, beaches, and downtown so close, not to mention the college atmosphere. My only concern was the air conditioning which we shared was a bit too loud, but we told them when we were departing. We recommend the Baymont and will return!!

Very clean and a great rate.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/07
The room looked and smelled very clean. The breakfast was really good. We brought our dog, and the fee was only $10. per night, and there were no compications with that. There was a Starbucks, Petco, Old Navy, and Rugged Warehouse right there. We certainly hope to visit again. P.S. If you have a dog, Fort Fisher beach allows them on the beach. That was a lot of fun. And, we were there over the 4th. of July. The fireworks at the battleship are AWESOME!
