loved it(goin bk soon)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/08
hilton staff friendly right from ck in, printed directions to our destinations always seemed to know what we needed before we did. it was our anniversary and it seemed the whole hotel knew we were treated ever so like royalty. complementary cho strawB(NO CHARGE)and sparkling water. the resturant staff could not have been better the weekend staff was the best i have ever had in a hotel rest every customer was treated like family, newspapers offer with breakfast even got our coupons from front desk.. rooms clean and pool relaxing alto it was a crown befoire and the hot tub no longer exist. needed a new remote had the issue fixed within 10 min. i will go back in a heartbeat. as i read some reviews i would say it looks like most have visited this location as a crown please go back as a hilton you will never go any where else.it seemed every staff member was wiling to help you even if it was not thair department. the lady breese in the rest even got me my towels from house keeping while we ate breakfast.(friendly & profesional).the rest was a bit pricy and the location is very close if you have a car to many other places to eat.. room serviced open til 11pm and even served us pancakes at 10;30pm.the only thing i did not like was i had to leave to go home i heard they had a lounge for an extra charge we plan to go there and pay a bit more i cant imagine the service can be any better it was supurb.very good location close to boston and major highways. we recomend this hotel to all. even the general manager stopped us and introduced herself and made us feel as we were in her living room -oh and the library is a great place to sit by the fireplace and read or watch tv.. we did have to pay for in room internet but the lobby and our balcony were free.they have a pay per buisness center too. we did not use the fitness center but it is huge. and parking is free. also has a garage to park and cameras are in use security good. you should stay here. i will go back donna and mike.

Excellent Hotel with a very Comfortable Bed
By Darin C, 10/23/07
My girlfriend and I are from WI and wanted to visit Boston for a weekend get-away. We stayed 2 nights (Oct 20&21, 2007). This hotel was among the least expensive options I found and was priced below what I consider to be lesser hotels. I paid about $100 per night including taxes. The hotel was very clean and we enjoyed it very much. It was a very good value and everything was very nice. The property does not have a hot tub, which was disappointing, but it does have a nice indoor pool. The room was very, very comfortable and parking for the rental car was free. They did not have a concierge (a service I would have expected and wanted to use), but were helpful when asked for information in the area. The hotel was a bit out of the way, but we had no trouble finding it. We had a romantic weekend, but I don't think the hotel is great for that. It provided us with an excellent room at an attractive price, which is what we were looking for. The building was a 5 star, but the services were only slightly above average. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value, that is realistic enough not to expect to be pampered at discount rates.

Stay was too short!
By jerzzgirl33, 6/26/07
Hubby and I stayed one night at the Woburn Hilton. We were exhausted when we checked in but the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and the bed was to die for! Soooo comfy I didn't think we'd be able to get out of it the next morning. They had all the little freebies in the bathroom: shampoo, mouthwash, conditioner, lotion and showercap - all from Crabtree & Evelyn. We ate in the Forbes restaurant. Neither of us was all that hungry and we figured that their portion sizes would be fairly small like at some of these fancy restaurants but boy were we wrong! Had we known, we would have just stuck with appetizers. I ordered the rotiserie roasted chicken - it was 1/2 a chicken!!!! and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant closed at 10 and we got there around 9:15 and were not felt rushed or that we were inconveniecing anyone. The view from the elevators at night was very pretty. The room rate my husband got was under $100 and we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy all they had to offer!

More for your money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/10/06
I was very pleased with all aspects of my stay. Every interaction with hotel staff was conducted with courtesy and sincerity. Room service was prompt and check in/check out was a breeze. This is my choice when I travel to the Boston area. Thanks for everything!

Given The Runaround
When I stayed at the Crown Plaza in Woburn, MA. I was extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service. Our movie channels wouldn't work and when we called the front desk, we were told our connections were fine. After dealing with the language barrier and explaining that regardless of the connections being ok the channels weren't working we were told a maintenance guy would come and fix the problem. An hour later I had to call the front desk to ask them were this amintenance guy was, I was told he had gone home for the evening, click. On top of that my boyfriend and I put a roomservice request on our door at 8 pm for the following morning breakfast. It should have been delivered around 9, at 9:30 when I looked in the hallway our request was still hanging on the door, where you are told to place it. After all of this we mentioned all of these issues to the manager at checkout and he seemed as if he couldn't of cared on bit. We were not offered any discount or appologies and got charged for our breakfast that was an hour and a half late. I will not go back to this hotel.

OK, but watch out for Extra Charges
By Shaun, 10/19/05
Room was decent, fitness room/pool/etc was average. If not for the hidden charges I would rate it 3.5 out of 5. Loses a star for phone not working (and got the "I'm sorry sir, there is nothing we can do about it" from the front desk). Loses a half-star for the subpar room service (English as a second language, limited menu IMO), lack security (exterior doors not locked) and smokey (smoking area right outside of main hallway of non-smoking rooms). But what really galled me were the hidden charges. They advertise High Speed Internet access. What they fail to mention is that they charge $10 a day for it. I also was charged for a breakfast even though I had received free breakfast coupons, which I had left with the waitress every day. Problem was on the date I checked out, I checked and paid the hotel bill, then ate breakfast so didn't see the errant charge till a few weeks later. Called the hotel and they said "I'm sorry sir, but I do not see any coupon with your bill". Well, duh - how about seeing that I received coupons for all days and doing simple math and seeing that the waitress must have missed the coupon??

stepping into serenity
By Donna, 5/25/05
My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza and found that the minute we walked in, all stress was released. The entrance is beautiful with it's large floral arrangment to the atrium's glass ceilings. The hotel associates were all pleasant and helpful. Our room was perfect, especially the over size bathroom with all the ameneties one would expect at a fine hotel. The hotel is conviently located for easy access in and out of Boston, has many dining concepts near by, and finally, the value for your money. Staying at the Crowne Plaza Woburn was like steeping into serenity.

Great hotel including amenities
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/29/05
The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were wonderful expecially if you like a balcony overlooking the enclosed swimming and exercise areas. The treats which included linen spray, eye mask, gift basket and amenities were unexpected. I would stay here every time I visited Boston. I did not try the restaurant due to time restraints, but everything else was wonderful. I travel extensively for business, but this time the travel was personal and I relaxed and finally enjoyed my surroundings for a change! Great hotel..

Average across the board
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/4/05
I liked the bed and the sleep kit very much. The hotel was just average. The staff was helpful but not as welcoming as some other hotels. My room was facing the indoor court yard. The smell of the pool permiated through the hotel. The air did not feel fresh in the hotel or the room. It was overall nothing special and I plan on staying at another hotel in the area when I return. I paid $99 for the room which was a good value. Any more and I feel it would have been a poor value.

Worst Hotel Experience of My Life
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/04
1) Guest relations employees not friendly or helpful. I don't think saw one of them smile our entire trip.
2) When we had issues with our bills the hotel staff treated us like we were trying to steal from the hotel. The management never offered any help, nor did we receive an apolopy when the charges were proven incorrect.
3) Cleaning was only adequate.
4) Also the Crowne Plaza in general only gives governemnt discounts to military or military contractors. They do not allow discounts for state employees, police, fire, etc. Just seems funny that if you work for a company that builds weapons for the government you are intitled to a discount, but if you actually work to help your communities you are not.
