This \"Ramada Inn\" is a dump

We booked two nonsmoking kings for an early flight out of Lambert. Confirmed booking at 7:30 PM. At 9 PM both were gone. They subbed two nonsmoking queens. They don't have an effective reservation system in place. One of the queens smelled like an ashtray. the other didn't have light bulbs in half the fixtures. The pillows and bedding in the ashtray room were infused with the stale smoke smell. Sleep was difficult. The tub surround was plastic over tile. the caulk at the edged was gapped and there was mold growing out of the gap.A shower was not an option. The airport shuttle ran once per hour. Our flight left at 6 AM. The desk said the 5 AM shuttle would work. We drove ourselves at 4:50 AM. The shuttle timing combined with delays at Lambert would have caused the flight to be missed if we had waited for the 5 AM shuttle. The shuttle has little value unless you have time to kill. This is a poor rehab of an old motel. Management, maintenance, housekeeping are all deficient. Better motels for the same rates surround it. The pictures look good. The reality isn't. There is no good reason to stay here twice.

The WORST hotel experience EVER!!!

Reserved a hotel room and was given a dirty room; then given another dirty room. I reserved a 3 night stay starting on Tuesday, Aug. 17 to Friday, Aug. 20 at Ramada North Airport through Expedia.com. The reservation was made on Friday Aug. 13. We arrived at Ramada at approximately 1:00 am on Aug. 18, St. Louis time and checked into the room and went directly to bed. Woke up the next morning to find we were given a filthy room with sticky tables, dirty floors, dirty bathroom, and faulty fixtures (I took several photos of the conditions). Upon speaking to the manager, we were given another room, being promised that it was better. We moved to the new room only to find another dirty room along with someone's leftovers in the microwave (not sure how long they had been there). I went back to the front desk with the new complaint and was told that the room would be cleaned "top to bottom". The purpose of my stay was to get my daughter settled in at college for the new year. We went to move her things into the dorm and situate her room. We were gone about 5 hours and returned to Ramada only to find the 2nd room exactly the way we left it, food in the microwave and all. By this time, the shifts had changed and there was a new manager, Ayodele Oredugba, at the desk. I was very agitated by the series of events with them and was met with a very condescending attitude by the new manager. Even after I explained the day of issues with the rooms, he was very rude and didn't seem to care about providing us a clean place to stay and taking care of their guests. I thought that the hotel should refund us the cost of our first day since it clearly was not an acceptable situation. The manager refused and offered to cancel the rest of our stay so we could find other accommodations; again, not at all interested in taking care of the guests that stay at their hotel. He even went so far as to call the owner of the hotel, Naresh Patel, who he told us had said the same thing, and that they would not refund the stay. Very upset, I canceled the rest of my stay and went across the street to another hotel to stay the rest of time in St. Louis. Our new accommodations were very satisfactory and not problems at all.

Do Not Stay Here!!!!

This hotel is dirty and disgusting. The staff was unfriendly and not helpful. There were weird people loitering about. I will never stay at another Ramada Inn.

We won't return.

One of our rooms had not be cleaned, the bed wasn't made, there were towels all over the room, and the trash had not been taken out. Whe we tried to call the front desk no one would answer. We walked down, they said it would be taken care of. We returned from dinner nearley four hours later and the room had not been touched. They gave us another room that was on the other side of the motel, which was not conveinient seeing the rest of our group was seperate from the new room. The rooms themselves were dirty. There was a half empty beer can behind behind one of our beds, and some sort of air freshner had been overused and the room was hard to breath in. (I don't have allergies either, so that's how striong it was. The plumbing wasn't working right and the toilet wouldn't flush. The management offered no apologies for our room fiasco, and just didn't seem to care if we were there or not. We will not return.

Very Poor choice

Very poor service. I stood at the tiny loby, front desk counter for over 15 minutes before even being acknowledged by the two receptionists. The room was very dirty. Hair in the shower, garbage behind the bed stands, cocroaches crawling on the ceiling. The smell was a very strong cleaning fluid smell. Almost nauseating. The walls must be paper thin. I heard people talking normally in the next room and parking lot most of the night. One of the worst hotels I have stayed, in my 26 years of traveling as a commercial Pilot.

won't be back

you get what you pay for, this was the cheapest hotel with a business center on hotwire. I left the do not disturb sign on the door but when I called later to get my room cleaned I was given a huge run around. It took me 15 min of trying to run down a cleaning lady to get towels and coffee. I just cleaned the room myself. When I complained to the front desk he just looked down at his computer. Also the door handle was falling off the door and an electrical socket was loose. Hopefully I'll make it out of here without catching on fire. And don't stay on the weekend... 15 teenagers were having a super loud party till 3 in the morning right above us

You get what you pay for

I was able to book a room for $49 per night. The room was reasonably clean. However, much of the motel is definitely showing its age. In fact, the bathroom is somewhat worn. For the most part, it's reasonable for the price paid. The airport shuttle is an added convenience, although the airport is a bit further than I had anticipated.
