Noice Hotel
By ,
Very nice and clean hotel but rooms are a bit small but expected for Hong Kong standards. Staff are very attentive to your needs and requirements. You can get a meal 24 hours a day and the hotel has a al fresco area. Happy hour 2 for one drinks between 5pm and 8pm. Beds very comfortable. Shower is great and you do not feel like your in a sauna after you've dried yourself. Honkers very humid in April so the exhaust fan in shower was godsent. Has "Main St" coffee shop hidden on LG level, ask for Amigo (yes, that's the asian baristas name), which I believe as a coffee drinker is best coffee in Hong Kong as Starbucks is disguisting and the locals cannot make a decent flat white/cuppucinno whatsoever. the coffee is very watery with no crem'a. You also get 2 for one deal if you show your room card. Buffet excellent and all markets and MTR's very close to hotel. Taxi's at door, no waiting. Only bad point of Hong Kong is the indian/pakistan dudes that chase you up Nathan Rd asking "Suit, copy watch". We counted over 10 of these "pain in the A" dudes in less than 800 metres walk. Other than that Eaton Hotel is great with a very nice concierge and very good english speaking staff. Highly recommended.

Loved The Eaton!
By ,
I originally chose to stay at the Eaton because they have an outdoor swimming pool – that was my only criteria really. So I was very surprised to see such an impressive establishment considering the price I paid (I booked via expedia.com and got the room for $80/night) Getting there from the airport was a breeze; I bought an airport express ticket to Kowloon Station for HKD $90 (approx AUD $15) and then caught a cab from there to the hotel. The whole trip cost about AUD $20. Rooms are lovely, however are as small as the reviews say they are. But lets be realistic; this is Hong Kong and they are very short on space! The beds are comfortable, room service is great and the bathrooms are attractive and well appointed. One addition I thought was brilliant was bathroom scales – so I could weigh my suitcases before I left. It is also worth mentioning, for the smokers, there is an outdoor eating/ drinking/ smoking area which is quite rare in Hong Kong. Food and drinks at the hotel are very expensive; AUD $7.00 for a coffee and $8.00 for a beer. I would not recommend purchasing any food or drink at the Eaton simply because of the price. If you walk onto Nathan Road and go right, there is a plethora of restaurants to choose from and most serve breakfast and coffee for around AUD $6.00. Also, the area around the Temple St night markets has many choices for lunch and dinner. Absolutely loved Hong Kong and would definitely stay at The Eaton next year when I go back.

Highly recommend it
By ,
I really liked The Eaton Hotel. The food was nice, especially the buffet for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service was excellent. Drinks can be a bit pricey, but expect that anywhere in Hong Kong. Rooms are a little on the small side, but for the amount of time you spend in there, that doesn't matter.

By ,
Staff , food , coffee and location all excellent. Stayed here twice now and had the same service each time. When I stopped in for for coffe on my last trip - even though not a guest at the hotel - I received the same warm greeting and service .It is also just across the road from Temple Street market - my favorite place to shop Going back to HK in September and staying at the Eaton !

We shall return !
By ,
After researching the hotel options in Kowloon Hong Kong and deciding on the EATON HOTEL. I was worried that the decision might have been a wrong one. Nothing could have been further from the truth it was Fantastic, the amenities ie, resturants, gym and pool were all excellent. The staff and service I feel were second to none. As for your location, you could not have been in a more ideal position in relation to everything that you want to see or do. We loved our holiday in Hong Kong and a large part of that was due to the fact that everytime we walked in the hotel after been out for the day it was like coming home. We'll definitely return to the EATON

Excellent Hotel For Service
By ,
We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The people are so friendly and the food was excellent. Conveniently situated for Temple St Market, other shops and places of interest. It's only a short walk to Jordan MTR and recommend getting an Octopus Card for use on train, tram and bus. It is very humid here so bear this in mind whilst planning your day. You have to visit Ocean Park to see the pandas as this was the highlight of our stay. The Peak Tram is a must also as the views from the top of Victoria Peak are out of this world. They were celebrating their 10th Anniversary so the Symphony of Lights viewed from Avenue of Stars was fantastic. They had fireworks every night at 8 pm. Big Buddha on Lantau Island was breathtaking. We had to take the bus as the Ngong Ping Skyrail was out of service and no-one knew why!! We love animals so had to visit the Botanical Gardens & Zoo and saw many a monkey and a gorgeous jaguar. A lemur had been born the month before so that was nice to see. We hope to visit Hong Kong again but when it's not so humid.

Good choice....
By ,
Why it is a good choice hotel ? - Location near MTR station - Clean rooms, comfortable beds - Customer minded service - The bigger rooms are beautyful and cosy - Starbucks cross the street 1st choice for breakfast. - Restaurants nearby - Take a walk to down to the Penninsula. You'll come cross great shops and the Tsim Sha Tsui park - Night Market just 5 minutes away - Good rate: I paid 720 HKD/ night (booked through American Express Travel Agency). (Kowloon hotel e.g. cots HKD 1000 / night in the meantime).

Perfect place to stay!
By ,
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the Eaton Hotel. Our room was very comfortable, quite roomy, not what I was expecting after reading about small rooms. The buffet breakfast was excellent, my husband is still talking about the smoked salmon omlettes! I couldn't believe how close we were to the Temple Street and Jade Markets, less than five minutes walking. We enjoyed "happy hour" the staff were very friendly and Marilyn was very informative on what to do and see while in Hong Kong. All in all it was a great holiday and we can't wait to come again and will definitely be staying at the Eaton!!
