Future possible guest
By ,
I have never actually been to the Rio, but I am doing some research online and when I came across the Rio it caught my eye. It looks like a beautiful hotel and all, but when I read the reviews of past guests, it totally scared me! I'd say 1 out of every 3 reviews was VERY negative. I don't think it is worth it to stay at an overpriced hotel with not so good service. Sorry!

THE RIO EXPERIENCE
By ,
we staded at the rio and it was beautyfull. the pools were very clean and thier was a lot to choses from as far as type of form. the hotel is very large and you need you room key show to the guraids so you can get up to you room. The room we had was very big and had a sitting area as well as the two beds and the bathroom and dressing area. the only thing i found to be bad about the place is that the slots don't want to pay out very well. But this can happen anywhere. the show are great and the food is very good, the service was wonderfull. i dislike the prices in the shoppes a little to high and the girls that dance on top of the bars and things where a littel to siggestive for my tast. The mem enjoy it. i would go back there again. Thanks

Relax in comfort
By ,
This is an all suite hotel. Lots of room to unwind in the rooms. It is right next to a major freeway and the hotel provides shuttles to the strip. Great place for more than a two day stay. High energy hotel with a great pool.

What a rip off!!!!!
By ,
My friend was in Las Vegas for a week--her mother was killed in a car accident on the second day she was there. She and her family hurriedly packed, and went to check out. The gentleman at the desk told them they would not be charged for the extra nights they were not using. Now she has received her credit card bill and discovered that they have billed her for the entire stay and because she was so emotional and can't remember the man's name who helped her at check out--she is out of luck. The hotel can't use the execuse that they couldn't sell the room--it was during spring break, almost every hotel in town was sold out--I am sure they were able to sell her room again! I will NEVER stay here.

Nice big rooms, but...
By ,
The rooms at the RIO are 2 times a normal room, but other than that, it didn't feel like a "suite". Call it symantecs. The hotel was nice and clean (even in the older tower where we were.) HOWEVER, we called about a *missing* light bulb in our room on Friday before dinner, left the lamp shade off so that housekeeping couldn't miss it Saturday morning, called Saturday afternoon and still no one came up with a dumb bulb. No high speed internet connection in my room, don't know about the others.
